It's been too long since we've had some crazy rants/gossip so I'm posting these 2 quotes from MisterX's blog today....enjoy the crazy! THIS IS ONLY FOR FUN/LIGHT DISCUSSION

Ms will put 20 billion all up into rnd game dev over the next 6 years .. there are new studio in house that you haven't even heard of.. Microsoft studios are growing day by day.. the big change at ms is the suit's are gone the gamers are in control .. these guys are the people who forged the foundation of what xbox 360 was before don had the wii u dream... I for one know Phil has the job now things are going to get very interesting for the true xbox franchises that people have been pleading for...... But the so called "best" hardware in the industry right now doesn't have the games to back that label up... keep this in the back of your mind... sony devs know that the ddr5 ram is having problems with cpu calls ....there has also been errors In their ogl drivers. There so called mantel driver is causing problem with the gdd5 timing. Gddr5 doesn't have the coherence that the sdram has on x1...it doesn't have data move engines to process and move data from memory a to memory b ... it is just a large cluster. You know why ddr3/4 is beneficial to mantel on pc .. because they can offload from gddr5 on gpu to ddr3 on the motherboard.
I hope you watch e3 this year 2014 ... nobody is going to be let down.. I have all ways said sony went with off the shelf part's for a reason. But in the long run ms has the tools and the hardware.

And he says E3 stuff will be amazing. Hmmmm. And then this guy:

OG has pretty much nailed it as always regarding why ms is silent. Speaking with two people yesterday who are on the inside, it was revealed to me the Xbox 1 was going to be delayed until as late as June because from the time the cadance data came back to the time for fabrication, the software (stereo drivers) were in the preliminary stages.
The system block with esram could be used for current development and engines but dx12, tiled resources and many other things would not be ready at launch so the specs passed on to devolopers was factual information at that time. The reason ms used the cadance simulator is because theit engineers were confident in the architecture but they were taking a huge risk on the design. Only after ggetting the positive results and finally solving the fab problem was ms able to go all in. Now that ms has the results and data to back the architecture vision they can put all their effort into the real os. This is why the Windows engineers merged with Xbox. This is why Microsoft said we have the best software people in the world working on Xbox 1. Once the software is done and evolves Durango into Yukon the world will know the truth.

About the "new studio we haven't heard of", there were recent hires at MS from Naughty Dog, and Irrational. They didn't go to 343i or Black Tusk as far as i know so maybe they landed at this new mystery studio?

Here we go mates:

The rumors are unsubstantiated at this point, but do come from a source that has been reliable in the past. Pete Dodd, who did reveal launch titles on the Xbox One would see lower resolutions than their PS4 counterparts, revealed the rumor via Twitter.

“10% reserved gpu getting 2% soon,” claimed Dodd. This extra 10% of processing power is currently reserved for video and voice. Dodd says that the Xbox One is currently on an 80-20 split between reserved video and voice for the system. He claims “GPU for that certain system had 10% reserved. 8% video. 2% voice. Voice will remain. That video 8% will be up to devs. As it should be.”

While this small tweak isn’t going allow the Xbox One to see a significant leap in power, it could help developers make more stable games when it comes to frame rate, and possibly give them more room to work with when trying to hit 1080p native.

...MisterX...just needs to put the keyboard away until some of his 'insiders' start being right...which has never happened.

X1 negativity is going to massively increase over the next week as Sony releases their financials, which are going to be epic bad news for the Sony brand.

Last gasp here. Almost done!

Im trying to start a Killer Instinct League here just for us, if you want to join please add your gamertag to the Official Killer Instinct thread.

Red Dead 2 and GTA V X1 inbound?

www.totalxbox.com/70155/red-dead-redemption-2-and-gta-5-are-coming-to-xbox-one-claims-analyst/

"We expect product announcements over the next year."
I don't usually report on analyst commentary, because it basically amounts to educated guesswork, but every so often an analyst says something that I feel compelled to repeat. For instance, Baird Equity's Colin Sebastian says that GTA 5 and a Red Dead Redemption sequel for Xbox One are a matter of when, not if. Both could go public this year, even. Sploosh.

"Take Two continues to produce some of the highest-quality console and PC games, which we believe should transition well on next-gen platforms," he observed in the 2014 Video Game Industry Predictions and Q4 Results Preview, as reported by VG247.

"We expect product announcements over the next year such as extending GTA V to other platforms (e.g., PC, next-gen consoles), the next Red Dead, etc., to help improve revenue and earnings visibility. In addition, the company has significant potential to grow digital/online revenues, which should help improve gross margins and add visibility to growth."

There's good news for PC gamers, too, if that's your cup of tea. "We expect PC version of GTA V in 2014. Recently, Amazon.com posted a product listing for a PC-version of the company's blockbuster franchise Grand Theft Auto V (GTA). While a PC version would not be a big surprise, this indirect confirmation of the game helps to provide some added visibility to consensus F2015 (Mar) estimates.

"In fact, we have previously published that GTA-extensions are in the development pipeline, and likely needed for the company to hit FY targets. We also believe the next Red Dead game is in the works potentially for a 2014 launch."

Rockstar certainly hasn't forgotten about Red Dead. "We don't always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won't get to them eventually," the developerassured fans in a Q&A back in 2012. "Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series."

As revealed in October, Rockstar has been working on the "next version of a famous IP" since September 2010. Also in October, the studio's parent company Take-Two announced that it had 10 next gen games on the way.

As for Sebastian's other prediction, here are nine ways GTA 5 could be even better on Xbox One.

I definitely expect a X1 version of GTAV too, if there is one for PS4, but so far there have only been signals about a PS4 and PC version. I think they found them in some code?

Read dead 3!! Oh my lawd.. Can't wait for that E3.

We all know it's coming. Red dead 2 sold like 20 million copies.

Saw an Xbox One on the shelf at my local Walmart. It was only 1 system but this proves that MS can't sell them.... ;)
