TXB forums closed by IGN

bye my old friend....
You need to type in:
forum.teamxbox.com
If you just type" teamxbox.whichever", then it defaults to IGN from when they shut the main part of the site down.
Yeah, my old forum link to GXD is sending me to the IGN boards. When I used the link P13 gave -- forum.teamxbox.com -- I got this message:
"Hello to all Team Xbox users! Don't be alarmed, you were redirected here from forums.teamxbox.com on purpose as those forums have been taken down. The site has recently been overrun with spam bots, and we're finding that running two separate locations for Xbox fans seemed redundant so we're consolidating. You'll find IGN's forums more active and have access to active moderators as well.
That said, we know that losing your previous username/account is not ideal especially if you've spent so much time at TXB. Once you've created an IGN account, please private message simpsonsfan007 or Lost_In_Translation to confirm you had a previous TXB account. Once confirmed, we will try to get you your old post count back as well as a free period of IGN Prime. We can't guarantee you your old username, but you're welcome to see if it's available all the same.
We're sorry to see TXB go, but we're happy to consolidate all Xbox users here to a more active community. Welcome to IGN!"
Seems like it is gone for good. Kind of funny that they're trying to redirect people to IGN. A bit late, guys.

Someone should join, explain that 98% of TXB users have already relocated to Union VGF after a very long period of total neglect by IGN, and then tell them to f*ck themselves.

That's weird. I'm using IE, too, and whenever I use that address, I am taken to the post I quoted above, on the IGN boards.

I wanted to do this in the thread that we get redirected to, but unfortunately it's locked. Creating a thread elsewhere on IGN just seems like too much work.
I joined back when there was nothing but crickets chirping and tumbling tumbleweeds in the place, when it had the original archaic format. It's sort of like TXB was, now--but in reverse. Sony fans and mods rule the roost, while Xbox fans are relagated to their own section, heavily trolled and largely unmoderated.
Throwing a bone to the tbx'ers only three months after it was abandoned and left for the bots to consume unlimited server bandwidth is like kicking out your kids at age 10 only to beg for them to come back because your child support was going to be canceled.
These goodbyes are getting redundant.
It feels like those awkward moments when you have said your goodbyes to a friend, you have said all that can be said and shared all that you can share. You hugged , you said you would keep in touch and then you go your separate ways.
Only to find out your separate ways are the same and you are both are parked in the same parking lot 5 blocks away.
What do you say? Do you stare ahead and ignore them?
