TXB forums closed by IGN

lol I will forever hate Speevy. Pretty sure he was the one who banned me for like 2 years. Inane Dork was bad ass, I loved reading his posts back in the day.
 
And now, if only Naomi Kyle signs on this forum, then my life will be complete. I predict she'll create username something like "Naomi Kyle-IGN". ;)

Where neogaf is a pile of pseudo intellectuals caught in a perpetual circle jerk, gamespot is boring, and the rest simply "are," IGN has always been a bit of a hole I prefer avoiding. Too many people and not enough with anything good to say.

As if there was a decision to make in the first place.

Sites like IGN and GAF are good to skim, but I find the posters mostly filler and way too many posts and posters. Hard to keep up with threads or remember people.

Speevy is on Neogaf now. Funny i joined TXB in 05, and i was only ever banned like once during my time there.(unlike Gaf where i am banned at least twice a month lol) I remember it being over an argument i got into with "iamforever" and i kept changing his name whenever i quoted him.( originally posted by "iamadumbass"etc) Good times. Sucks seeing it go down as it did. It was pretty much my go to forum for many years.
 
Sad to see such a place go even though I was banned.

Went to check on it a few days ago then saw the IGN stuff, terrible.

I joined up at IGN, see if I like it.

first glance, there are a lot of motherf***ers. I kind of like the lowkeyness that TXB had and now Union/WCG both have. Not void of members, but not so many that a conversation gets swallowed.

TXB may you rest in peace. I've had an IGN account since 2011, I avoid the forums and only troll the news page comments boards. That was funny that they tried to reach out after they terminated the site especially since it was long abandoned. Glad you guys stuck to your guns.
 
She does look like she desperately wants a boyfriend. That ad does not lie. You can see it in her eyes.
 
After a long hiatus at TXB this is the only other gaming forum I've posted at. Kotaku comments section is ok.
Ign can eat my s*** with a spoon and Neogaf can blow me.... although maybe not cause a large percentage there would enjoy that.
 
I'll never sign up for IGN, they could take the free IGN membership and shove it up their asses. They are not getting any support from me. My home is here.
