I’ve worked union jobs and no union jobs. By and large regular people are better off with a union simply because collective bargaining does carry wait. I’ve fared better in terms of financial renunciation when I was working a job.
I'm all for Unions for ALL occupations. But what I've learned from being in the teachers union is that the union does help but cannot shield you from stupid decisions and/or poor management at the top. I imagine the same would be true in the videogame industry.
