I'm enjoying the PGA tour road to the masters so I'll be playing it this week and upcoming weekend.
I'm tinkering with a Full Body Tracking system for VR. It's basically working, but doesn't seem to hold calibration for long, but it is a helluva lot cheaper than upgrading to Vive stuff. It's called Haritora X .
It is kind of cool for VR immersion and kind of weird wearing so much hardware.

I was very stress from work. So I just played some good old Street fighter 2 turbo on stream in th eevening using the capcom arcade platform (collection of capom aracde games). It cost only 2€.
But damn, the AI is so cheap & overtune, & do double your damage. Luckily you can play cheap as well by saving middle of fight & reload from there.
I also bought captain Commando that I played in arcade as kid, but man does it not age well. Got bore within 20mins. But it costed me only 2€ so its okay.

I adjusted the tracker and had better performance. It's still prone to losing calibration in 5 to 10 minutes, however, it does have a recalibration shortcut that is quick to do.
It's an odd underdog product I suppose, but saves a crazy amount of money over the more accurate and reliable HTC Vive equipment.
What is weird is this is just a small extra to be able to move my legs in VRChat, but there really is a feeling of additional immersion. Mind is blown looking in a VR mirror and seeing the entire thing match my movement.

Got some sports games going with new MLB The Show, NBA 2K23, and PGA 2K23 my player modes in all.
Also still playing Diablo 3 and I’m sure I’ll get in some online shooters.

In PGA 2K23 I won my Q School tournament in a Playoff sinking a big breaking putt. While the graphics may not be the greatest it’s fun and not bad for the $15 I spent.
So, this weekend I helped my parents setup a new TV they bought. I went ahead and tried out hooking my RoG ASUS gaming laptop to it and it looked nice. I fired up DooM: Eternal and Mortal Kombat 11.
Something weird though, most of last year I had gradually shifted a lot into PC Virtual Reality gaming, and gamepad gaming on a screen felt different. I dunno, maybe I'm hooked on the VR immersion.
They're close on Pros & Cons though as admitedly, the gamepad / screen games have superior graphics, ( unless I eventually upgrade so I can play games like Halflife: ALYX ) yet there is also quite a difference playing Raiden in MK verses being in Blade & Sorcery shooting lightning out of my hands, or physically moving to stab or bludgeon people lol.

Man the new MLB The Show 23 is so f’ing good. Between playing my RTTS character, doing moments and playing games building up my Diamond Dynasty team, and I started doing the Negro Leagues stories… game is a complete package, I love it. One of the best sports games I’ve played.
Pretty much addicted to EA's PGA Tour right now. Haven't enjoyed a golf game this Much since links back in the early 2000's.
Is this game on gamepass? I used to play some golf game on pc back in the days. It can be a game to play for chilling.
No. Not on Gamepass. It is an EA game, though. So, give it 4-5 months to hit EA Play/GP.
If you have GP you could try the EA Play 10 hour trial.
I am playing some Dishonored 2. I am surprise its a 2019 game, I thought it was release earlier.
I initially did not want to play since I ply the hell out of Dishonored one & all the DLCs, & felt theer is nothing new to offered in Dishonored 2.
To be fair, I haven't seen anything groundbreacking & game feel like a DLC & graphical upgrade. Its still pretty enjoyable, but I am taking some liberty & don't care as much as pacificst & ghost (no alert).
One issue with first game is pacisfict gameplay is so retrictive in option. You basically use the basic choke 99% of time, whilc chaos have so much options.
I think Dishonored 2 give slighly more option for pacifist, we shill see. One annoyance is to find all the heart (or whatever its called) for upgrade. Instead of actual doing the quest, 70% of time is to look for these. They are need for upgrade & not just collectable which make it even more annoying.
A simple experience bar /level seystem I much prefer, & these collecting stuff should be well collectables with some small bonus only.

BS game is beautiful in both balanced (40 fps 120hz mode) and performance (consistent 60 fps mode with VRR) but I prefer the latter because when you turn the camera around, it's smoother at higher fps and also the better input response feels more enjoyable to play.
