Well the game turned me off because I needed to find oxygen to survive. I don’t feel like looking for oxygen and monitoring my level so that I don’t die.
I completely understand. The early game can be a little rough which is why I think this game initially turned me off. It doesn't take long to find the blueprint to craft a easier way to recharge your life support system. And the large amount of crafting and building options found in NMS can be overwhelming. I'm about 20hrs in so of course I'm still learning. Luckily there are those online willing to share their experience and wisdom for newbies like me and because of that I'm really enjoying my time with NMS right now.
Yeah the only thing that make 2k3 attractive was the $23 sale. 
Plus it has a 3 click swing option.
I didn't realize EA's game was going to be next gen only. I'll wait for the demo for sure. I think the sale goes a few weeks. The old Tiger golf games were always great.

3 click is coming to EA later. As well as a 60fps mode. Or least they said "maybe".
How is not 60fps day 1. It's a golf game, and pretty meh visually too.
Not playing much. My kids will. We had a f***ing tornado rip through my area. scary s*** for sure. You see, I worked at a refinery and the tornado was heading towards it. Apparently it turned and missed the refinery barely. Unfortunately it flattened the airport. And 3 people just in town lost their lives.
We had a Tornado too. Didn't stop me from playing FH5 DLC, though.
Not a joke either, literally had a Tornado.
Played Poostall Royale, the developers of the Postal series released a free new game on April Fools Day. Just a simple top down shooter, but hay it's free and a cool bonus for any fan of the series.
Yeah 30 fps when it is a next gen exclusive is not a good look. EA sports new/returns to games are always rough around the edges at first launch. I'll give it a try, but sounds like they need another year or so.
EA Sport's PGA Tour trial is live now for EA Play/GP Ultimate users.
Well that is a bunch of s***. I pre-ordered it and it's paid and I can't play until tomorrow. WTF.

Only played PGA Tour really quick but it feels rough. 30fps feels terrible, and even the swing isn't smooth. There's a million animations and other things you can't seem to click past. It has to remind you that you are playing a PGA game twice between every shot. Not sure if this isn't the final version of what (maybe a day 1 patch), but this isn't great. Nothing about it feels next gen at all. The menus are horrible too. Feels really rushed.

To be fair, I was never going to be able to get by 30fps. The big problem was that the swing didn't feel fluid. I didn't expect to get it down right away, but it feels like something that will never feel right. After each swing I'd look at the meter telling me what I did wrong and I had no idea. Again, maybe if I put the time in, but it didn't feel like that.
Between every shot was infuriating too. You can't not watch your shot roll down the fairway. You can hit a fast forward button only. Then it is a "PGA Tour" animation that I couldn't skip. It has been awhile since I played a golf game, but I remember being able to button mash and get through a round fairly quickly.
I peeked over at Operation Sports forums after I played, and they echoed a lot of what I thought.
I just can't see myself paying $70 for it. If they patch in 60fps and the game is cheaper, maybe I'd give it another try.

Seems fine to me.
The Swing has weight/momentum factored in. Hit several special animation shots.
Press Y goes straight to ball lie. Which is how I remember it being in the past.
I hear ya on the PGA Tour/Tour animations. No need for that.
To me it seems like the swing mechanic is designed for unpredictability in order add variation to each shot. More realism. But well see after a few more hours of players.
I don't get how this is next gen or current gen only. Compared to FH5, FIFA 23, Plague Tale 2, this seems very last gen on XSS.
I’ve been having a lot of fun playing Diablo 3 again. Working on a Monk now in Adventure mode trying to get to lvl 70. I just put on a podcast or music and destroy mobs looking for that better loot.
This upcoming weekend I will focus on WATCHING the Masters on TV and PLAYING the Masters on my Xbox. I hope this new game is good. I will also try to finish up the Forza Horizon 5 expansion by Sunday as well (hopefully sooner). I already have substantially more game time in this new expansion compared to the Hot Wheels, which I gave like 45 minutes and said f*** this.
Yeah! Rally Adventure is better than Hot Wheels for sure.
