What are you playing this weekend?

My mom got covid (not sure when). She took a qucktest & was test positive before going out to celebrate Mother day,. LOL

But its super mild. Like normal flu. Just have to stay at home & not interact.

I finally washed my car during weekend. By that I mean someone washed the car (manual + autocarwash ), & I pay. mainly to get rid of Polen on my car. They blurred the windscreen & making to hard to drive in the night without streetlights.

On gaming side, I played a bit of Tiny Tina (with a friend) & Diablo 2 resurrected. during weekend.
Glad your mum is ok, speedy recovery to her 👍❤️

I hear Germany has huge over the top automated car washes. There’s some heavy duty window cleaners that work amazingly on car windshields. Just spray it on heavily, wipe sides of then wipe off dry. I polish and wax my windshield too and give it a ceramic coat lol

Been playing roblox with my nieces 😆

My mom is okay, barely a flu, according to her.

I don't know about the over-the-top automatic car washes. The one I normally use is pretty run-of-the-mill. Cost like 15€ for premium wash or whatever. I think on top of the. wash it applies a small layer of wax.

Started with mainly windscreen cleaning with power hoses, then going through the car wash. The good thing is it includes an underbody wash (which is good after winter to get rid of nasty road salt) that you couldn't do it manually unless you have a car lift.

This isn’t the video I was thinking about but I think it’s the same location.

Totally forgot about undercarriage cleaning, not many here in SoCal have them. You ever foam was your car?

I knew somebody who bought a car from Oregon, I’m guessing they hadn’t ever checked down there. When they went to lift the car to change the brakes lift/jack went right through the first layer. You could see the whole thing just ready to come apart…. so much rust it looks as scary to think they’ve gone so far with no issue.

Cool car wash. 40€ (the so car highest price) isn't too bad including the interior.

The car wash I use is more humble. Here is a picture I took of my car during a carwash. Just regular hardworking people doing honest work.

Didn't get to play much this weekend. I got married 😊

Might play some Borderlands 3 (free on Epic games now), or might try out Sea of Thieves or the Ascent on PC GP with my wife and friends later today.
Congrats for finding someone that accepts that you love a piece of white, 8.3 Tfl plastic more than her.

But yeah, really, Congrats!
*And welcome to the beginning of the end

Anyone get any games in this past weekend?? I hadn’t played any 😬

Just playing around with Sniper Elite campaign a little and more co-op with Gloomhaven. I'm at a state where I'm trying to figure what game I want to spend some time with.

Fortnite with the waifu, my brother and cousin. The brother and cousin are new to it but we won some no build squads :bang:
My son used to play that and got really good at it. I was amazed when I watch him build while still fighting. I don't have those kinds of reflexes.

I wound up working so my "Weekend" will be Tuesday-Wednesday.

Going to mess with VR Chat some more. It's a strange mix; the users can be obnoxious, but I really like seeing the worlds full of creative content and sometimes people on there can be more chill.

I see there is a world based on the TWIN PEAKS Black Lodge I want to check out.

There is also an app I've been messing with that might be able to add more tracking using an old Kinect.

I am on Holidays for 2 week.s I will bring my ipad & play Diablo Immortal until I returned, that or I just read some books.

I guess my computer and kinect hate eachother. Or I don't have enough USB 'bandwidth' for both Kinect and VR.

Oh well, still messed with VR Chat and found giant avatars like MechaGodzilla or Jet Jaguar that was amusing. Hung around some people doing YouTube stuff. Also, did find a VR Chat world that was a copy of the Black Lodge from TWIN PEAKS that was weird.

I also played a VR game Discover Space 2 that has some cool easter eggs. It's just a chill game that lets you fly around the Solar System. The devs left a model the Discovery spaceship from 2001: A Space Odessy by Jupiter and there is also a black Monolith. If you fly into it, you'll teleport to Pluto.

They also left a model of the Event Horizon by Neptune.

Switch - MUA3, it's not very good, put I pay full price and I'll get my money's worth... In game time at least.

Xbox - Judgement (the Yakuza spinoff), looks amazing and the combat is great. The cast is great too.

Retro
Neo Geo X - Going through Metal Slug series (3 atm), beautiful sprites, great gameplay, prob my fav run-n-gun.
Sega Saturn - Policenauts, was halfway through when my save file got corrupted awhile back, at it again and loving it.

I love the metal Slug games as kid. Nice to play with a buddy.

Anyway. I thought I will play only one sitting or so of Bioshock 2. (Bioshock collection was free on epic store), but end up finishing the game. I think the game length is just nice, About 15 or so hours. Pretty fun game, maybe too consersative in terms of innovation from Bioshock 1.

There is like near zero frustration in the game (since you can respawn from the chamber) & pretty much save anytime, even mid combat So super chill. If there are any complains, enemies respawning when you return from th ebrancjing path can be annoying. Also, the game levels are pretty boring, & same look in feel. ALmost every level is one/2 main big room & branching corridors then return & take another branch until finish all the tasks & open a door or pull a lever (along these lines). Backtracking I think is the word.

Still good game nevertheless.

I am packed & ready for my holidays tomorrow. Wouldn't be playing much except Diablo immortal on my ipad & iphone.

Is the China Diablo any good?

Update on Metal Slug series, I'm finally on the number 6 (the only one I'm playing on original hardware - naomi cab). It's pretty amazing, definitely worthy to be in the mainline series imo.
Those sprites really shine on the multisync CRT Nanao MS-2931 monitor that's in the cabinet.... pics don't do it justice but here's a couple anyway;

Its well made & optimised, but have predatory P2W, that you expect from P2W mobile games unforunately. In any case, I wil l play while on Holidays (only have ipad & my phone) until I return & can play proper games again on my PC.

How many versions are there in the series? Do you think this series should get a 3D remake, sequels?

I'm not touching DI. Not what I want in a Diablo, personally.
