What are you playing this weekend?

More fortnite grinding for last day of season. I forgot I had like 3000+ vbucks in my wallet lol, bought the Battlepass with it since it's worth it if you grind out and get your money back through the pages of v-bucks rewards. Obtained Dr. Strange skin right before season end :)

For me, I think it will be some Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and Ghost of Tsushima this weekend. I might test the waters in that truck sim, Snowrunner. It's supposed to rain here most of the weekend so we are not going up to our cabin.

Some.....

FIFA 22
Snow*Runner
F1 2021
Battlefield 2042.

Nice mix.
I don't think I have ever played an F1 game before. Do you love them or just like them? Also, are you liking 2042 more now?

I'm not F1 fan in general, so just a like them. F1 21 has a story mode, I know you like that sort of thing.

BF2042 put the old BF maps from portal in the main 64 player conquest mode and they make a big difference. Caspian Border, Noshar Canals,Arica Harbor show just how crap the 2042 made maps really are.

I really like F1 2021, the AI is great and punishes you on little mistakes but you can still race well and pull away from the pack, add to that a great career mode (haven't even looked at the story mode yet) and it's my favorite recent racer.

It's a shame it's an EA game I went looking for a couple skins or something to buy and they only sell coins for a podium pass or whatever and I just can't be bothered with any of that.

How many versions are there in the series? Do you think this series should get a 3D remake, sequels?
There's 1-6 and X (which is remixed version of 2 basically), and some portable versions (which I don't count). There's a 3d one I think, on ps2? I think it sucked though lol.
I honestly think that they should do what was done with streets of rage 4, make a great looking 2d for the present consoles.

Is Tiny Tina's Wonderland in Microsoft store? I don't see it anywhere.

Last night I got some Tiny Tina in. We are getting rain I guess later this afternoon. I’m trying to decide if I should work on finishing COD Vanguard, Ghost of Tsushima or TLOU2 which is taking me forever. It hasn’t clicked (bahaha) with me yet.

Assassin's Creed: Origins on Game Pass. I haven't played an AC since Ezio days. Really enjoying the game.

We have incoming rain so we are going to go see the new Jurassic Park movie. Then I’m coming back to game!

Is that a thing?!
Basically a spin-off from the postal series, developed by a studio named Hyper Strange. It's essentially an arena style boomer shooter with Postal dressing. Some stuff will be familiar to Postal fans, and lots will be unique to this game. I'm personally having a blast with it.

Contemplating a second Elden Ring playthrough. Nothing else out there really interests me right now.

A little bit of everything. I got glasses recently and I must've needed them my entire existence. I'm replaying through a lot of games from last gen enhanced on the Series X and I'm absolutely floored at some of the things I was basically seeing in 480i on a 4K TV. The visuals in games I've been missing out on is quite drastic. I've sunk 60 hours into AC: Odyssey over the last 2 weeks, trying out RE 2/3 with the updates from yesterday, checking out all of the missed details in cars in Forza Horizon 4/5, etc. It's like playing entirely new games.

I'd been in the mood for a modern shooter campaign, looked through my library of games and remembered I'd bought Homefront: The Revolution at one point when it was massively discounted. Played for a few hours today.

I'm glad I didn't pay too much for this.

I may play a little more, but this is a massive step down from the first game. It runs great on the Series X with the perfect frame rate using the X1X enhancements, and certain aspects still look nice graphically, but I'm not having much fun.

I tried it too (bought it) and it didn’t stick like the first one.
