What movies have you seen recently?

Watching First Man, it's really good IMO.

But...I don't believe this s***. There's no way all this stuff happened with old analogue technology. I'm even saying I question the moon landing. Maybe it did happen though. f***, I hate thinking like that because I'm not a conspiracy type of person, yet I just do not see how they made that work.

I feel like I've been watching this movie for hours and there's still and hour left. I like it though, and Ryan Reynolds is really good in it.

I'm going to have to save the rest for another day though.

I also watched Pulp Fiction the other day for the first time in years. I think these Tarrantino movies have awesome dialogue, which is absent from newer movies.

"uh, Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling are not the same person"

This is true.

I meant the Gosling. (Holy s*** they're the same person)

I finished off "First Man"

I thought it was great. Really like what I walked away from with it. Love watching something like that and afterwards you actually think about things, even though it's not new thoughts it's nice to revisit some of those things.

Apparently that movie came out in 2013 anyway lol

I binged a bunch of movies this weekend:

Gamera: Guardian of the Universe -
My favorite of the 3 Gamera Heisei trilogy movies.
Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion -
Some cool moments, lots of extremely dark action scenes that are tough to make out.
Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris -
Some cool moments, but a bit too much outdated CGI and bizarro plot points.
The Little Things -
The newest "in theaters and HBO Max at the same time" movie. I seem to have liked it more than most. Kind of a 3 actor movie.
The Dig - Netflix original, based on a true story about a self-funded arheological dig in the UK that made an amazing find. Pretty well done.

Mortal Kombat (1995) - Cheesy, little video game action romp. Some of the fight scenes are actually pretty good.

Caught "You Cannot Kill David Arquette" on Hulu yesterday. Awesome doc that is probably a bit too focused on everything he does right, but it's a ton of fun. Very fast 90 minutes.

My Bloody Valentine (1981) - What better way to "celebrate" the holiday than watching a psycho miner go on a killing spree?! One of my favorite slasher movies, the picture quality of the Scream Factory blu-ray set is fantastic.
