That said, truth is that the xbox exclusives simply appeal to me more than the rest. LocoCycle, Crimson Dragon, Forza 5, Ryse, etc. All games I want to play. Plus, I'm somewhat interested in seeing what XboxTV has in store.
You havent heard anything but you know the DS4 offers more? Two exclusives? Fable and Halo. Halo alone. Ps3 just start selling more console 360 had that title for YEARS. Mods here are awesome but they should crackdown on the fanboy comments to. Especially the ones that make no sense.

What are you talking about you seem to be the biggest fanboy in here. As soon as people gave their reasons for going with the PS4 you harped on them and called them fanboys! And you believe PS4, which is the more powerful console this generation, can't handle an Xbox 1 game (Titanfall)? WTF?
Actually every single one of his reasons was about the PS4. It's not like he was discussing why he wants to get a Nissan.
What caused me to sell my Triple and pass on the Quatro was the way Sony handled themselves this Gen. The console went backwards as time when on, scrimping and saving wherever they could while Microsoft improved and innovated. As for the Wii, meh my kid likes it and eventually I'll put up a U for Mario and Zelda.

PS4 for me...
- $100 dollars cheaper. (thats fine)
- Better 1st and 2nd party studios. (personal opinion)
- Better controller. (he never tried the controller before)
- Playstation brand seems aimed at a more mature/older audience. (so you telling me this is not a fanboy comment)
- Hate the fact that time/resources are going to wasted on Kinect 2.0. (again another comment that has nothing to do with why he choose the PS4. Makes no sense to even mention this.)

PS4 all the way baby, but for the mean time PS3 is is doing just fine

360 came out a year before the PS3 and was significantly higher priced.
Your point? When the PS3 drope it was one of the worse console launches in history. No games for like a year and when games did come most of them were not worth the wait. Don't even get me started on all the lies Sony told everyone. "Every game will be 1080p on Ps3!!" Hey you started this thread. Are you looking for a discussion or looking for a fight? Seems the latter. If someone gives a reason for wanting the PS4 you obviously get upset at the reasons.
Here are mine:
- $100 cheaper
- I don't want to pay for a camera
- I like PSN+ better than Xbox Live because they give me more free games
- I like the design of the console better
- I want my console to be vertical next to my other consoles, which are also vertical. I can't do this with Xbox One.
- I am addicted to MLB The Show series. It is my favorite series of any game. This is exclusive to PS.
- The reviews tell me that the DS4 controller is better than XB1, and I like the fact I can use headphones because my wife hates listening to me play video games . I will reserve complete judgment till I hold both, but the latter feature is a killer option for a married man like me.
- PS4 has better hardware specifications and from what I've read is more powerful than XB1
- There are more first party studios on PS. Though I preferred the 360 last generation, there is no question who had more first party exclusives. Sony is still putting out great exclusives.
- I believe the PS4 will be more successful than the XB1, so it may have a longer life. The fact I can still pre-order a launch day Xbox 1 from MS and Best Buy and Walmart scares me. The fact that the PS4 standard edition on Amazon is ranked #30 in total sales for the year, yet the STILL AVAILABLE Xbox 1 is not even in the top 100 scares me. The fact that PS4 completely decimates XB1 in just about every poll scares me. I don't believe the XB1 will be nearly as successful, so I don't want to risk it.
- There are more games I want to play on the PS4 than on the XB1, at least for launch. I am jealous of Titanfall but I can buy that for my PC and use the Xbox controller. And I'll bet anything it will eventually come to PS4 because it is EA.
- I have liked Sony's attitude this generation more. They remind me of Microsoft last generation. Microsoft this generation reminds me of Sony last generation. Microsoft seems more arrogant (like PS3), has the higher price (like PS3), the more complicated to develop for console (like PS3), and is making me buy something I don't want (this gen it's Kinect, last gen it was Blu-ray).

You couldnt make this game without having that kind of dedicated server support.
Not only that, but since Respawn wont be using the Xbox cloud on the PC version of TitanFall they say the PC version wont be as good as Xbox One version. Or at least they hint at that. They said:

Basically Respawn says that the game will be best on Xbox One because of the cloud. Since the game is an online title it makes sense that theyd use this feature so much since players will need internet to use the game anyway.

Yup one of the worse console launches.... priced high,came out a year later and had the PSN offline for about a month..... YET it still beat the 360.
We can talk all time ratings and all time sales but the PlayStation brand wins by far in both of those categories.

- Variety of gaming experiences; imo, Sony seems to offer a more varied buffet, more creative approaches; MS more narrow
- MS fatigue (being an Xbox owner for 11 years and growing gradually tired of their approach)
- Preference for Sony's first and second party offerings
- Price
- Huge back catalog of games on PS3, PS2, and Vita that I might have access to, whereas I've drained the MS well dry
- More power
- MS's stumbles and bumbles, which left me thinking their vision for gaming is different than mine
- Improvements to the DS controller (would've been a big reservation otherwise)
- Changes to the design that have made it easier to develop for (this would've been another reservation, had they not addressed it)
