They allocated most of their early run to the NA launch and then the recent production pretty much all went to Europe, so it stands to reason that they haven't been able to resupply Amazon the same way MS has since their launch.

I've been hearing many murmurs about retailers getting more unit refreshes, and with each refresh more units of X1's than of PS4's... and not just in NA, but in other places around the world too...
While it's total speculation at this point (based off of mostly anecdotal evidence), it does seem like Sony may have been producing units LONGER (resulting in a larger initial quantity than Microsoft could deliver), but perhaps MS is producing them FASTER (resulting in more frequent refreshes, and more units per refresh when compared with PS4).
Can't wait to see the 2013 total WW sales, and NA sales specifically. I really honestly have no idea who's going to win it, but I'll say right now - I don't think either are going to be 'bad'. Both will be winners, regardless of who edges out who... and we'll see what kind of momentum both have going into the next calendar year...

Both seems to be doing good sow far, here in my country too have trouble finding Ps4`s, says in stores here that will arrive february, then another delivery to stores in March.

Anyone who misses the reference should be aware that I'm quoting a great, great movie and not actually ignorant of who legitimately bombed Pearl Harbor, especially given today's date.
It was over if they were priced equally the fact that they aren't and the lower priced one is more powerful..just means the battle will be shorter or the 180's will happen faster and many 180's already happened.

We've seen in the past that people are usually uneducated when it comes to what looks better, heck I still believe people sit too far away from their screens to see what is apparent in front of them.
At the same time power never won a generational console race, usually price helps but it will always be the games.
I think both MS and Sony have a fighters chance this time, for real.

Well i just don't think they are feeling as comfortable as they were when the Wii was selling like hotcakes.

DK, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros. U and Bayonetta 2... These 4 are big titles. There's likely another Metroid somewhere in the mix also.
All in All great titles but the fact that PS4 overtook its lifetimes sales within a few days in the UK already ?! very very dark clouds looming over N if u ask me. Curious to see what 3rd part devs will do taking this into account. BTW i loved Starfox and Metriod on the Gamecube wich was my favo N console. Wouldnt mind playing the new-gen Metroid on PS4 or X1 should N take the Sega route haha ... u guys think that will ever happen?!
People on message boards have been saying Nintendo will go 3rd party for over 10 years now.

They got tons of $ to bring a new Console on the market for next year and pride over their history will surely play a role in what they decide to do. I rather see them launching a new beast next year and take everybody by surprise. MS and Sony alone is by no means good news for gamers in general imho .... microtransactions anybody?! pfff what a joke that is. DLC is the worst thing that happened to console gaming is u ask me it is what started this microtransactions that is blowing out of proportion.
You never know. It won't be any time soon as Wii U is only 1 year old. But maybe next next gen. Nintendo hasn't had a console selling so low in its history. It does have the security of high selling handhelds and a rock solid balance sheet though..... two things Sega never had to help them keep on making hardware.
