Xbox Game Pass - PC And Ultimate - News, Stuff And Recommendations

Ok, so I have Xbox Live Gold, which is good through August of 2021. How do I go about getting that deal where you just pay $1 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the next few years or whatever that trick is?

It says:

"Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass for Console or Xbox Game Pass for PC time into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of time, up to 36 months. All conversions are final. See xbox.com/gamepass for details."

So if I add another year to my XBL, I will have Game Pass for a total of $1 until August of 2022?

There's a limit, I think to that, but just sign up for the $1 on the site or whatever and it will calculate the length of time. I think mine extended until middle of year without me doing anything. I think mine expired in the next few months. I wen through CDKeys to get some heavily discounted Game Pass cards to redeem. I think overall, through time, it'll really pay for itself. Just need to pick up to regular titles through Game Pass without having to pay to make up for a full yearly price for Game Pass. For most of us, that should play out fine.

Haha, there are soooo many games in the "recently added" section now. Still no Jedi Fallen Order though. 😭
 
So my account had shown that I am paid for Xbox Live Gold through October of 2021. So since I have this prepaid already, and I just did the $1.00 first month for Game Pass Ultimate, I assume it has to charge me less than $14.99 a month after that because I already pre-paid a year of gold. The FAQ is useless.

It's on there now. I just started downloading Jedi Fallen Order. Next in queue is Titanfall 2.

And I just played a bit of the Dragon Quest XI demo. Lots of good stuff to play.

What I don't get is, how can a game lock up if it doesn't lock up during beta testing (assuming they beta tested). An Xbox Series X is an Xbox Series X is an Xbox Series X. It's not like there is different hardware, different specs. It's all the same, all closed. I don't think I will ever understand how stuff on console gets released buggy.
 
What the hell is with Fallen Order? I cannot find any option to set the Y-axis camera to inverse. This is practically unplayable to me without this option.

I thought I saw a video about the new Xbox where in the Xbox settings you can adjust button layout for a particular game and I’m sure you can invert the Y-axis.

Finally got it to work. It was in the edit controls menu, but wouldn’t scroll down to it. Had to hard reset twice for some reason.

Dropped off Falconeer because Gears Tactics is really good. I'm hoping to come back to Falconeer at some other point. I might have wasted $30. :(
