Like a message? I do its not very often. If anything I say every 3 months I get 2. I just report them to keep live client.

This started when MS started that whole silver account, they should of just stayed with Xbox live or not.
I keep getting accounts following me with no gamer score and
No played games .

No messages but I get random people adding me as friends. They do seem like new accounts but at least have games attached to them. Most recent was two that appeared to be playing Forza 6 so maybe just added me from my Drivatar because I haven't played online yet.

I report anyway, just telling them they are collecting gamertag with no game activities

Does every one keep getting spam accounts

Yep.

Seems I am not as lucky as others in here. The last 2-3 weeks I have gotten loads of random followers who just send spam messages for watches, Fifa coins, any old crap, and I even had one for Viagra :really:

All were 0 cheevo accounts too. I just report them and delete them.

I'm on friends only. I will occasionally get a random person with no gamer score following me, bit they can't send me messages anyway

Those who enjoy space shooters and sci-fi titles in general will certainly want to cast their eyes on Elite: Dangerous, which is currently on sale on Steam and Frontier's official store. You'll be able to hop into your own ship and hit the stars for just $26.99.

The massive universe is open to you, it's up to you what you do with it. Both stores sport identical pricing, and Steam states the offer will close on September 28. Have you invested hours into Elite already? Let us know how you're enjoying it in the comments. Oh, and for you Xbox One owners, the title is heading to console on October 6.

Wasn't really sure if I'd pick that up, but for only $26 it could be hard to pass.

Yea even for someone that didn't spend much time with the preview (still have like 30 minutes left) I'd almost pick it up for that price and hope I could get into it.

Thinking of buying a game from the Xbox live store. Do they charge tax?

That would be listed in the order before you press "buy" I think. They do say "certain fees/taxes may apply." I think it depends on how things work in your state/country.

Talked to Xbox support they said for Ohio there is tax for Digital purchase.

There's tax for a digital game purchase? Does it costs the same as the retail version? Man, i really dislike digital distribution. If it was cheaper than retail i might consider switching.

In my opinion, digital is awesome. Instant switching. Space saver. Kids can't scratch or lose the disc. Preloading. No need to worry about disc drive or laser failure, which is what happened with my 360.

Didn't pay tax on PSN that is why I asked.
I wonder if that means that they were leaving it up to the individual to record their purchases they didn't pay tax on to report in their taxes each year. That takes out an accounting process for Sony, allowing them to forego the need to report and send collected taxes to each respective state, city and county. Where as with MS, the onus is now on themselves to do all of that.

Thanks goodness. Having only 8 slots has hurt our Halo nights on occasion

Yeah, and this makes complete sense with Halo 5's Warzone being 12 v 12. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to fit an entire team in the party if you wanted.

I have my brother as part of my Live family. He still has to have my account signed in to play games online on his. Is that the way it is suppose to work?

Do you mean on your Xbox? Everyone on your Xbox should have access to Live unless age restrictions are set that keep them from accessing Live (like my daughter).

If you mean on a separate Xbox, then what you need to do is have him set his Xbox as your home Xbox under your gamertag, and then you are logging into your Xbox, set as someone else's home Xbox (most likely his), as a guest. It works because he would be logged into his own gamertag on what is technically your home Xbox but he would have access to Live because you have Gold. You would have access to Live on both because your Gold privileges "travel" with you.
