One of my favorite early online gaming memories is the dude in Unreal Tournament 2004 who played "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer down his mic.
I think he also played "Let's Get It Started" by the Black Eyed Peas, and now I associate that song with UT2004.
I didn't see anything on the site so I tweeted one of the admins. He hasn't been able to help yet.
I don't know if he can help, but you could message rukizzel about it. He's the community manager. Like I said, he may not be able to directly help you, but at least you would be putting the bug in his ear.
lol that's the person I contacted. Haven't heard anything since Monday. Didn't see anything on the website for a direct contact to anyone via the site. And the error I get when trying to create a new account that says my email has been taken suggests the forgot password link... which doesn't exist. I even tried to create a fake account with my Yahoo email and never got a verification email for that one either.
lol well I just went into the email of my fake account and I had an email to create the account. Unfortunately it was expired and now there is nothing I can do. Hell UVGF has better support than a damn MS sponsored forum. Here I can send a message for assistance and even reset my password if I forgot. Nothing of the sort on the Ultra Combo forums.

Always expect the unexpected. That Elite controller is going to sell like hotcakes.
Preordered mine from Amazon a long time ago. They are promising delivery on launch day, or at least were when I ordered.
Same here. October 27th will be a glorious day indeed. Not sure what game to use it for first, probably Forza 6 to see if I can knock down some of my lap records with it.

Mass Effect Andromeda and Battlefield 5 Will Use Physical-Based Rendering, Possibly DX12
Mass Effect Andromeda developer EA has hinted at some pretty interesting information. It is no secret that Andromeda is being developed using Frostbite. Same engine used for Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront and more.
According to EA, the engine has went through a transition and it already supports DX12. They aren’t telling us which game is going to be the first but Mass Effect Andromeda is a strong candidate. Also, the next Battlefield is most certainly using DX12, if as the developers say, the engine now supports DX12.
While that is speculation and assumption, something that has been confirmed is that both Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 5 and other future Frostbite games will indeed use PBR (Physically-based Rendering).
Physically-Based Rendering is a popular technique being used now by developers to make objects more photo realistic/natural-looking. Instead of using multiple diffuse textures/specular maps for objects to represent different conditions in the game, developers can use PBR to create one texture for each part of the object.
From here on, developers artificially represent properties like a refractive index to help define parameters for physics model that controls how light and shadows behave during the rendering of frames of an in-game scene that contains that object.
PBR saves time and makes life a bit easy for developers while working on lighting and shadows in the game, while making objects look more realistic than ever. Mass Effect Andromeda is expected look amazing with PBR and we can expect the same from Battlefield 5.
However, we have to wait for some in-game/in-engine footage to see how both of these titles benefited from PBR.

Or just give us a good Battlefield game. Something they haven't done for years, IMO.
As this gen goes on i really think Microsoft was toying with Sony. Just playing possum. Look how far we've come. Xbox has the greatest games lineup in the history of not only Xbox, but gaming period. That Elite controller is coming. Once the true power of the cloud is unleashed it's over. The Xbox One goes down as the GOAT.
That would have less to do with the engine and more to do with the dev. The engine does some amazing things graphically speaking. Ryse is two years old and is still one of the best looking games out there.
