Uh... Cool, I guess. Not sticking to design convention is cool. I bet that form is driven by its internal structure requirements. I bet they are doing some kind of innovative stacking for proximity and maybe cooling? Not sure. Interesting.

Too bad the trailer said absolutely nothing else...

I like that they're trying something different here, looks quite nice and honestly a bit cool to see someone other than Nintendo doing a different form factor.

Some of the details are discussed in the 2 articles I posted.
And this:

Phil Spencer

"We wanted to have a dramatic upgrade from the Xbox One base console. So when we do the math, we're over eight times the GPU power of the Xbox One, and two times what an Xbox One X is."

12TF confirmed.

I want specs lol. That design is totally for ventilation purposes. That thing has to got some power.

Phil Spencer from the GameSpot article. That pretty much confirms 12TF. And I think there are other specs floating around from some of the other articles about the Series X that came out right after the announcement.

Ninja Theory has kicked off next gen with a ridiculously high bar, this looks absurd in the best way possible.

It's actually not a great thing, in engine cinematics aren't going to be what we get for gameplay, we go through this every time a new gen comes and people always end up being let down, all companies do it and they shouldn't. That was a cool trailer they made but don't forget how the Forza in engine trailer looked before the X1 launched, the game looked good but nowhere near as good as the trailer, same with how Naughty Dog showed that Nathan Drake trailer and said it was in engine, the game still looked really good but there was no way it could have lived up to the trailer.

The name is pretty bad..Wii u like.

I think it rules out another mid gen refresh, they can't call it the Xbox Series X....X lol. I get why they went with that, as Spencer said let's them have room to come out with other models but if they want to avoid confusion they should probably stop making One X consoles and let the inventory run out pretty quickly after launch. I'd imagine a mom going into a store and saying "Can I get that Xbox X thing" will probably happen more than it should.
