Yeah, our hardware is really just better in every way which matters for rendering quality, resolution, etc.

Cross plat games will always look, run, and play better on SeX.

But PS5 will be a fine machine... and the truth is that the experience will be basically the same.

Cross plats will always be objectively better in terms of rendering performance on SeX, but gamers who want a PS5 can still get the same experience, just slightly lower res/image quality and/or performance.

A closer release window. Microsoft PR is on it this time around. Love it.

*Of course Coronavirus could kill all these plan but

to be honest the real factor will be the Ray tracing. If this becomes a big deal Sony will be in the world of trouble.

At 12:30 in the video that Nervusbreakdown posted, he talks at length about this, and the difference between the 2.

He thinks RT will be the next big thing, and explains why the PS5 will have a much harder time with it. And why Cerny kept stressing that it wasn’t necessary for devs to use.

Yep... and did you see the Digital Foundry hardware deep dive?

This was something which I haven't heard too many talk about, but it's something I've wanted to blab about for quite some time.

Xbox Series X hardware's RT acceleration is pretty ridiculous.

For standard shaders to run what the RT acceleration does, it would take 13TF **ALONE** to make those calculations:

Depends on the price difference.
All of these things(we luv) XSX has over PS5 will be for nothing IF they can't match them on price and a $100 difference will put XSX in a world of trouble.
Remember Phil said this time they will not be out priced and out performed

That makes me wonder if MS will wait until Sony announces price first this time around.
MS needs to undercut the price and Halo being a lunch title add it with a 3 months gamepass.

Gamepass will get people on board real fast, that service is far more important then Hardware sells.

They will still be awesome looking. X will just be more refined. We've seen near photo real stuff on 2 TF machines, so it probably wont be much of a gulf.

I mean even if SeX was doing 120fps compared to 60fps, barely anyone would notice. They've gotten so good at faking it. Still, I am interested in seeing exactly how the differences will manifest.
