Oddly ironic.

Dude, nobody disagreed. I gave you a fact. Then gave you sarcasm revolving around that fact. You're basically talking to yourself.

Lol. Okay, your sarcasm is usually accompanied by you being disagreeable and/or argumentative. Didn’t realize you moved away from your baseline. ;p

Sega did online first.
Scuff controllers and otgers been around for ages.
Nintendo did motion gaming first.
Game streaming was done last gen.
Didn't EA Access come before Gamepass.

Interms of not being first.
HAVE YOUR FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME!!!

Shame you haven't. Still replying based on some hidden meaning rather than what is actually said.

Lol.

Never knew that. So online play for consoles goes back to what...early/mid 90's.
Yep. I think there may have been one before that, but I don't think it was used for gaming. It may have been for NES. I think it was just for internet access. I may be wrong, but that memory came back to me when I was looking for the XBand.

I'm actually bummed that I never got to play my beloved Mega Drive online. Loved that console.

So, Hunt Showdown is free to try this weekend and on sale. I definitely recommend at least trying it for the free weekend. It is sort of a PVE + PVP game (think a very small battle royale but with a lot more AI and a lot fewer people).

It is a lot more about stealth and noise than other games. For example wooden floors will creak, and broken glass on the floor can give your position away. The game has a bit of a learning curve but is a lot of fun (most of it is common sense, this isn't a run and gun game, being smart and quiet will benefit you).

Must not be accurate^

1 year ago, MS said:

Today you can play three generations of amazing games on Xbox One. That means that Project xCloud has the technical capability to stream more than 3,500 games.

3D platformers existed before Mario 64, Mario 64 still considered the first real groundbreaking 3D platforming game (though I really liked Jumping Jack Flash).
I went online with my Dreamcast, but I'd agree that Microsoft pretty much owns the badge of having the first real groundbreaking console online service.
If one wants to be picky you could minimize basically every companies ideas and products to being stolen or evolutions of earlier tech.

I really don't think that iis right. Party chat, from what I recall, came on the 360....I beleive it was right around Gears of War 2 release. It was when everything changed and game lobbies turned into ghost towns. It was essentially the end of the great social Xbox Live.
I know trust me, party chat was on the OG Xbox, you had to be in the dashboard. Look I been on Xbox live for 17 years.

Thanks for the heads up. I've heard good things about the game despite the small community.
