I agree, it's better to announce a console without showing any actual games.
Yeah, they showed that thing for a while before the actual console was unveiled. It was a big silver X with a green circle in the middle if I remember correctly.
It got lost between all the stupid TV talk but MS did announce Quantum Break at the reveal.
At least it's one of the games that has caused the most buzz. Could have been like a Ridge Racer or something.
Ghost was announced along with some EA sports games and they showed some footage of project spark. Not to mention e3 was less then a month away???

Unless a game is design dedicated to PC, we will get at best the difference between last gen & next gen version of a game, meaning, higher resolution, better fps (maybe), better AA & better textures, a little more trees & some other settings, that can be dialed easily. Details of enviroments and chracters for instance, cannot be improve without manual work (on anything other than simple shapes).
PC game for the past years have been hindered by last gen restriction. If console characters have average 3000 polygons, PC version will have the same polygons, no matter how high the setting, as making more detailed characters & environment cannot be done via some settings, & few, if any, will put the extra effort to modify enviroment & characters to their full potiential detail levels for the most powerful machines.
