The sooner the Xbox show starts the better, because posts like these don't fill me with confidence:

"I think I know everything that will be there, but I'm hoping I'm wrong and there are more titles I'm unaware of. I don't know the rundown of the show."

Would love to be wrong though."

Those are posts by Matt by the way.

Matt is treated like the Neogaf Jesus because he's a developer who questions every piece of positive news for Scorpio as paid fluff. He's a 3rd party developer...not Microsoft insider. He believes DF misrepresented Scorpio. Says Scorpios RAM is wasted and overkill because it faces the same bottleneck as PS Pro. Says OG Xbox One holds back Scorpio development.

In one day, we'll see how much he actually knows. I manage a technology team who does coding (not remotely related to game devlopement) but I see how different opinions can be from different users regarding capabilities and ease of use of different platforms. A lot of preference is based on what an individual person is good at and used to.

Do we know from which 3rd party he is?

Funny how these "insiders" will come out and say something about an MS system won't work out well, yet where are they on the PR bullhorn saying PS4 Pro is held back by PS4 OG?

Somehow Scorpio is help back and PS4 Pro isn't, even though Scorpio is a bigger spec bump.

And PS4 Pro has shown it's spec bump improves res, stabilizes frame rates, and some games even get option settings to pick what you want.

MS: We realised 12GB was not enough for developers vision so decided to increase retail units to the dev spec - 24GB
Matt: Yeah it's a welcome increase, but 25GB would have been better so people shouldn't get their hopes up

Awesome! All Xbox One S 500GB bundles will be $250 now, With the 1TB bundles being $50 more. They will sell a lot of these this year, regardless of Scorpio sales. There will likely be new bundles for the same price, too, but not until later in the year.

Hypothetically, could older games bring in PC assets via download to run on the Scorpio? Improved textures for instance if there was also a PC version.

Anything can be patchednwith enough intent. There's no reason why 360 games can't get resolution increases.

Anybody having an issue with Xbox live?
My internet is running but live is not.

Funny just not too long ago Mixer was having an issue and they did get it resolved before the E3 show.

I just saw that we should receive the free content within a week or so if your Live account is linked to your Mixer account by Friday.

Microsoft has revealed the rewards that people will be getting:

You can watch the Xbox Daily shows during the week to unlock them if you missed it.

I got mine randomly about an hour ago.

I turned on my Xbox and it had installed all that crap. Thanks for the inconvenience MS.

I had them popping up all night. (Yes, that's what she said).

Giving credit where it's due, Shinobi and Matt from Neogaf were pretty spot on. Makes me more concerned about Matt saying the Scorpio/X1X CPU is bottlenecking the rest of the system and will keep things close with the Pro.

After the conference, I'm taking a more measured approach in this jump to 4K TVs and the X1X. I'll consider again around this time next year if/when Anthem and Red Dead release. Not jumping in during 2017...especially since the next 12 months are mostly about Indies that aren't going to melt my eyeballs on a 4K tv anyways. Might be smart to wait for Oleds to come down in price.

I agree with the second part of this. I'm waiting to go 4K tv and One X. My 55" HDTV and One S still gets the job done for now.
