What I did not realize until listening to the Major Nelson podcast a few days back, with Phil Spencer, and Todd Howard and Pete Hines from Bethesda, is just how big of Xbox fans that Bethesda already was! They absolutely LOVE Gamepass, too! This really changed my perspective on this whole thing. That's all I want to say. I'm still completely indifferent, and I can still see both sides of the "why", but if I had to take a guess at this point, I'd say that they will probably go exclusive for new games.
One of the stories that I'm sure that some of you remember is that when they made Oblivion on Xbox 360, they were already deep in development. It was Bethesda that pushed Xbox to double the memory by showing 2 versions of the game, and what it could look like. When they finally announced that they were doubling the memory, they actually threw a "Double Memory Party", complete with a 512 cake, and the developers were so happy that they actually got their wish. Seriously, the podcast was worth the listen, and I usually don't like listening to Mjr. Nelson ramble.
