I did another one it gave me the option of doing and it was the second main mission. Haven't seen any others pop up yet that I have already done the regular mission for.

1 Million...not bad
Not a bad start hopefully it will continue to grow. Any idea how that stacks up to something like Dark Souls in the same time period?
Also, gotta toot my horn a little bit. For someone that hasn't spent any time with Dark Souls and maybe 10 hours in Bloodborne, I feel like I'm doing pretty good at this game. I'm currently midway through region 3 and have maybe 50 deaths. I've been watching Maximilian Dood's videos of him playing the game. Still only on his second mission but he has died quite a bit including several times to the second boss who I was able to beat on my first try. He is a huge Dark Souls and Bloodborne fan so pretty funny to see him die so much in this game. That said, if the game is just different enough he might be trying to do stuff that would work in Soulsborne games than here. He definitely gets too greedy on Ki usage and gets killed by that.
Anyways so far I've really enjoyed the boss fights. All have been different enough so far, and while a few have some super cheese attacks, it's pretty easy to find their weakness. Also I'm a b**** and use the sloth talisman when needed. I have no shame.
lol trying to think of the worst boss fight for me so far... maybe region 3I wasn't doing too bad on deaths until I tried the mission Greater Demon Hunting. It's a boss duel and I tried for three straight hours to beat it. I died lots and lots.
lol trying to think of the worst boss fight for me so far... maybe region 3ice woman took me three or four times with the stupid half screen bs. Did the fight with Red Demon guy but only took a couple tries once I found a way to cheese him. His startup after blocking is slow so I'd just interrupt him.
All in all not too bad. What region is demon hunting on?
I beat the red demon guy on my first go. Just keep the pillars in the dojo between him and fast light attacks.
I think Greater Demon Hunting is region 3. If not it's region 4. It unlocks after you beat all the story missions there. It's a b**** of a fight. It's a version of the first boss you fight except he's much faster and has all one hit kills. I got him down to about 30% health and that's the best I've done so far. One single mistake in your movement and you're finished.
That's the Onryoki with the giant metal balls? He was a final boss in a sub mission of region 3 but wasn't bad so must be region 4. Can't imagine many more sub missions in region 3.
Greeaat *prepares punching bag*. Let me ask, what level are you? And I'm guessing weapons level up based on mission levels? I'm around level 72 I think but my best weapons/armor are only mid 50s I think, and that's about where the missions are recommended as.Yeah. He was the boss in that one where you fight him in the lake. He was easy there.
He's a boss again in another one and he doesn't have the balls this time. He just runs at you and jumps at you. It took me ten minutes to get him down to 30% using the dual katanas with fire.
Dark Souls 3 sold over 3 million its 1st month. Not a bad start hopefully it will continue to grow. Any idea how that stacks up to something like Dark Souls in the same time period?

Well just finished the last main mission of region 3 and that Great Demon level opened up. Faack. Probably give it a try this morning yet.I'm about the same. Level 75 or around that. My weapons are level 65 or around that. Their the highest I've found so far. The mission recommended level is 70 as well! lol

Hmm... please forgive me but I beat him in three tries. I did cheese the hell out of him with high stance spear. Depending on his attack I either just hit him once or twice, then bounced. I also used my two sloths and defense down talismans once that other guy showed up. Probably could have made it easier on myself, I didn't even think to revive him after he went down.Just beat it. I died like another 30 times before finally getting him. Easily the most intense boss fight in the game yet.

Side note the first boss in region four lol... one hit bs but once I figured that out he went straight to hell.
At least from using the spear the last region or so now, it seems OP because of its reach. I beat another duel using it. He couldn't even get close enough lol. I started out going sword and dual sword, but decided to check out the other items for easy skill points. Really enjoyed using the spear as all the stances seem quite a bit different compared to a sword, so I ended up using a book of reincarnation or whatever to go sword and spear instead. Anyways looks like the next main mission is the one from the last chance trial. I played that mission like 10 hours alone so should be a breeze.
Edit: also you seem to live dangerously ducking between that guys legs and what not. I just ran like a b**** most of the time.
I don't think I have too many. I can't remember the names outside of Spearfall which I have but haven't used. Whatever unlocks the path to Spearfall I have and I believe it is the barrage attack you mentioned. I know I have an unlock that gives bonus damage to that as well. I don't think I have anything else for high stance yet. Most of the points I've put into mid or low stance so far. For high stance though I've usually just done the two hit quick attacks and rarely finish with the strong attack.I've had the spear since the start but nearly always used dual swords. That's how I got it in my mind to get in close because I had to fight that way for ages. It was definitely not an efficient way to fight that greater demon! lol
What spear abilities are you using on High Stance? I was using the sweep trip against normal enemies and the spear barrage attack. But I think they are Mid Stance moves.
Found super OP setup I think. Was doing spider nest castle mission as I missed a couple Kodamas. For boss fight I used a power pill, sloth, and defense down talisman. Also used one moment talisman (think that is the one that calls a guardian to help) and used a fire weapon. Sure I am like 20 levels over at this point but f***ing RIP to the boss. Was done in like 10 seconds.
I think using the Enko guardian is what really did it, especially if guardian spirits take advantage of the power pill as well. I didn't use it right away but when I did it seemed like the health dropped instantly. I've used Enko since unlocking that and just wish I could find smithing texts for red demon armor. I remember a lot of people on Reddit talking about that. Really enjoying using a spear so figured that would help as well. Until then I'm currently using the red armor you get from preordering. It's a few levels behind now but I feel the advantages of having a 5 piece outweigh the defense bonus I'd get if it was higher level.Power pill, Sloth and Caranage? Yeah I've heard that's a mega combo. I'll have to try it out.

If you've been playing all the sub missions and what not as you go, then you should have it. You get it from a duel in region 3 I think? Haven't spent much time with revenants but I'll give a few a go.I have multiple full sets of red demon armour. Region 3 and 4 revenats are full of them. I'm not sure I have the smithing text for it yet but I have so many of them from drops there is no need. Not sure I have that Guardian yet but I'll check. I definitely want to try that power pill carnage combo for bosses.
