What movies have you seen recently?

GeoStorm: Oh, go f*** yourself Gerard Butler. It's like half of every scene he filmed he tried to act, and then he realised the movie was a piece of s***.

Irish, American, pick one! You have a 'brother' and your accents don't even sound similar!

In fact, to fix the film, cut the brother out, bring the two random women forward, and shutup!

And on the whole... The name is bulls*** in regards to the movie! The budget is all spent on space bulls***. And it's not even sandra Bullock level stuff years late... It's just shiny trash.

More earthquakes! Less space s***!

Gerard Butler, I hope a dwarf punches your c***.

2/10 awesomeness

Ghost in the shell

Not bad but not great. Johansson walks like she got hulk busted from behind in a deleted Avengers scene and the 'twist' really doesn't help the whitewashing complaints.

I, Tonya: Good. Almost seems like made-for-TV material, but it was a compelling movie. I only knew portions about the case when it happened in real life, so seeing this side of the story was quite interesting.

Batman Begins 4K

Pretty damn good upgrade. Some scenes stand out more than others but on a whole a good jump from Blu-Ray.

i bought the dark knight trilogy 4k... wait till you see the imax scenes in dark knight and dark knight rises :surprise: also its apparently true 4k, so no upscaling or anything, which is surprising, i sensed some blurriness in certain shots

I watched Batman Begins already. This weekend I should finish the trilogy.

As far as the "blurriness," it's due to the very shallow depth of field with lenses for IMAX cameras. Focus needs to be dead on. At 4k, little misses in focus become more apparent.

The Dark Knight 4K

Holy s***. It looks so damn good and not just the Imax scenes but everything looks so much better than before.

5 Headed Shark Attack: Turns out, it's not a super quality film. With a name like that, I was expecting movie magic. Spoiler warning. There's a 5 Headed Shark that Attacks a bunch of people.

Atomic Blonde: GOOD

Love the soundtrack and the style of the film. Fantastic action scenes. Some slow and boring scenes detract from the pacing of the movie. Neat plot and setting.

The Shape of Water - Below Average

Drawn out. Boring because of it. Cool art direction. I just can’t seem to enjoy and Del Torro movies. I just liked Pacific Rim and Blade II. Other than those two, none that come to mind.

Disaster Artist - GOOD

I haven't seen The Room, but I did watch some clips from youtube before watching the Disaster Artist. Well-acted and well-written, this movie is actually good. One might even call it a feel-good movie. James Franco & Co. basically had to re-make The Room in order to make this movie, which is in itself pretty amazing.

Pans labyrinth is a wonderful movie

The Dark Knight Rises 4K
Lot of Imax jumping but still a great jump to 4k. I like this film a lot but still feel like it should have been the 4th in a series. Wanted to see Batman on the run like TDK teased.

The other guys: I don't if it's because I'm still pretty drunk and can't leave the bed, but I found this movie really funny. Mark Wahlberg looked super young, and Will Farrel is awesome.

The only movie I ever walked out on and the turning point of where I stopped watching trailers after loving them so much. The trailers ruined the movie.
