The problem is the choice of words. People aren't "judging" this game. Theyre assessing it's current state. People are too stuck in 2007 vernacular.

If people think PUBG runs poorly on XBox now, they aren't damning the game a month or three from now. Almost everybody expects the game to improve.

Seems like people want to give have it both ways. Don't point out that the Xbox version runs like complete butt because its early access but lets give the the early access PC version GOTY awards.

I wouldn't say it's complete butt. Maybe the taint and one cheek, the one with the pimple and the scar from that boil and the other scar from that night where you had a few drinks with Bellybama and never could figure out why it was you could neither sit nor stand properly for a week.

Sheet i said awhile ago Zelda was going to be the 2017 goty AND one of the top rated games ever.

Yeah, you could have summed that up with PUBG isn't eligible for GOTY because it's on Xbox and not PS4. The bias is driving me nuts, can't believe more people like PS4 than X1. Why god, why.

Don't have it yet but listened while a couple of buddies got rushed by a player in a house. As 1 was getting shot @ the other smacked the guy with a frying pan. Sounds right up my alley.
 
So it looks like a runaway victory for GotY here at The Union.

And the winner with a commanding 23.3% margin is...."Something Else"!!!! Yes, despite 9 great games being listed The Union found "Something Else" to be far more engaging. The dev team of "Some other Company" has come up with a fantastic game that put many heavyweight legacy titles to bed. I hope we see more from them in the future.
