Damn. Forgot about shadowplay! Thanks man!
That's 2 games in the past few months that they pulled that s*** on. Coincidently they didn't receive a review copy of either game, they had to play both at the same time the rest of us did.Damn they went with the 7.1. Lol
Oh well.
lol Sinking feeling isn't it? You gotta start throwing hands and make them work for it.Last night I had to battle 2 of those huge devil lookin dudes at the same time. Tried to strike up the chainsaw and get ammo? f***ing empty. I just dropped my head and let the ass kicking commence.
Right? Something? Running around screaming and jumping around like a scared lil bitch didnt work. Try as I may.. Such a fun game though...lol Sinking feeling isn't it? You gotta start throwing hands and make them work for it.

Well above Ultra(as Ultra isn't the highest preset) @4K...my fps aren't 60fps,instead all over the place so I played it a bit @ 1080p and its a looker that's for sure.
Don't do that bro. Get it on PS4 instead. The Xbox version looks like some NES type of s***, 10 frames per second with a 480p resolution. I've played better games dodging bird s*** out of the sky on a cloudy day.Just saw the commercial. I'm probably going to get the game for the Xbox One next month. It needs some love and Doom seems like the perfect game for that.

Ask VaL. He'll tell ya...
I've just realized that myself. Even though I've only got the pistol and shotgun. I thought I'd never need the pistol after getting the shotgun until I realized how little ammo there is. So now I'm relying on the pistol for the stragglers. Nice balance there. One thing I love about this game, every gun remains important until the very end. You're not just replacing guns with more powerful guns, they all actually become very powerful if you upgrade and complete mastery challenges. I was using the machine gun almost as much at the end of the game as when I first got it.
I can see how that could be a good thing. That's what youre referring to right, a demand for extended reviews? They didn't really have a choice with The Division, and Doom though because no review copies for those games were sent out, just sayin. You know how gaming sites are, always want to either be the site that gets the early review, if that doesn't work out be the site that gives a great game a low review score. Either way the site is going to rake in hits.Reviews in progress is something they will continue to do moving forward due to demand.
I've only died once a few hours on and that's only because I missed a jump. The Doom formula in a more open world is awesome but also pretty damn challenging.
I'm dying a lot more than I thought I would in the early levels. I'm on Hurt Me Plenty difficulty.

Do you stay on the move constantly when fighting, or do you tend to slow down, or stop, to aim before shooting? The Doom formula in a more open world is awesome but also pretty damn challenging.

Same here, I don't stop moving when the fun starts. Ill slow down long enough to strafe back & forth and kill a few or hit a tough enemy, but when it gets hairy I run straight forward and shoot anything that I can I immediately take out so I can get my health back.I'll say for me I've found that the more I'm moving the better I am doing, especially later in the game. I'll only stop when I see a good opportunity to bust out one of the big guns or when there are only a few enemies left.
