I may as well be playing Madden. I move like I'm playing a football game, FFS. I squeeze the trigger when it gets hairy and hope to f*** I hit something while I'm on the move, screamin, "take that! Take that!.... Eeeeeee!"
Well, I've abandoned my plan to restart the game on ultra-violence, and am instead just replaying all missions on ultra-violence with all my upgrades. Love it when an imp drops down in front of me and starts building up a fireball, and I bust out my triple chain gun lol. Just a tad overkill but oh so fun.
I finished it on normal a couple days ago. Im going through on easy to get the fully upgraded Praetor suit achievement because I want to use the art as my dashboard background. lol Its crazy, its really hard to die. Im just cruising through at my own pace.
I got this game yesterday and I love it. It's amazing. Oh my.
I just found a corpse wearing the skyrim helmet and an arrow in its knee. Nice.
Yeah wth is the point of them letting us customize our characters colors etc if we still limited to red or blue.
It's too bad too. I miss the gore filled arena shooter. Quake. Unreal Tournament. What happened to them?
They need 2 fix the TTK-Time To Kill in the MP and it will be okay not as good as Unreal Tournament 4(which is free) but good.

Haven't bought it yet as my current PC could only play it on low settings in the beta lol. I'll get to it this fall once I build a new PC. Might buy it now though since it's still $40 on CDkeys...
Anyone have suggestions on how to get that f***ing gun in the security room with the lasers? It's ass chaffing...
Jump to the green lit platforms on the edge of the room. When the lasers come down, then rise back up, shoot the red lights under neath them.
Thanks bro. I actually figured it out, not long after I posted. Now, there's this big as devil looking lieutenant dude who seems really pissed off for some reason. I'm trying to get his big ass to calm down.

Has anyone went back and played the original Doom games recently?
Wow, I love how unforgiving and unapologetic those games were. It's in your face, raw, and ugly. Yet still fun. I honestly don't think there is another fps like it even now, it just has its own style and feel that I like.

Doom holds up pretty well in my opinion. The gameplay still works great and the graphics, even though early 3d are still serviceable. To top it off, is dirt cheap.
Now for the next trick there is a mod called Brutal Doom. Holy s***. It adds a lot of modern amenities to the game in the best possible way in my opinion. There is a very real possibility you might even enjoy it more than the new Doom. I can't possibly recommend it enough.. it makes ano old great game feel like new. Also Romero just released a new level a few months back that is cool as hell too.
Just beat the campaign. Two doomtastic thumbs up. I want to play it again right now on higher difficulty.
