I'll never tire of this account or the fact people don't know it's a joke.
So he's actually going to take it private.
So if you own a piece of stock you’ll get paid out or do you become a private investor?
Fvck this I'm going back to MySpace.
It's funny because you have conservatives excited over the news, "owning the LibZ" "Freed of Speech wins!" and all that political bullsh*t. I wonder if they are ok with Musk "authenticating all humans" with a digital id requiring private information.

I got an 8 hour ban for what I posted on Twitter. I was responding to an article where a woman punched another woman who was coaching a kids game, because the woman didn't like the coaches telling her to stop screaming in the stands. She was arrested. I commented on the article saying her punishment should be that she get punched in the face from the coach. The 8 hour account ban was instant, so I assume it was flagged by violence by the word punch the woman in the face.
That isn't free speech IMO.
His fanboys are brain dead. Elon's recent "free speech" tirade isn't even a true free speech issue and more along the lines of Twitter and other social media being the new town square, so censorship shouldn't be a thing. Yet ol Musky just blocks people because he's a bitch.
We will find out how much he cares about free speech when China leans on him. China didn't have the leverage over Twitter it has now.
Not a fan of Elon but I couldn't care less who owns twitter, the people who are freaking out about this crack me up, especially the ones who threaten to leave, as if it's some big important thing to be on twitter and the world couldn't get by without hearing our personal take on something. Twitter is a joke that's taken far too seriously by people with power, the best thing Elon could do would be to buy it and shut it down lol.
Here ya go…He's financed a ton to buy Twitter. It isn't a joke to the guy who paid $43 billion. He's used Tesla to finance this purchase.
This is what wealthy people want you to think. Now, if a dozen of us leave, nobody will care. However if people leave en masse, we can really hurt his bottom line.
If it isn't some grand social statement, oh well, it is only Twitter. We'll find something else.
I won't support rich people propaganda. My fear is that he's going to want to spread misinformation about covid and basically anything else that benefits his bottom line. Musk was very unhappy when California shut his Tesla plants down during the worst of covid. It isn't as much about Trump as it is about things like that. What if he starts spreading covid misinformation that ends up getting more people killed, because it is in his corporate interests?
It is way beyond just Musk. Bezos owns WaPo (which is far more scary than this by a mile). It is troubling to see WaPo cover Amazon news and have to make that disclaimer. Don't get me wrong, the rich have always controlled the media, but how long before they have a clamp on everything we read and see?
The people who scream "free speech" are interested in anything but. People complain about cancel culture, but guess what? That's just someone else's free speech. That's how free speech works.
Here ya go…
Cancel culture will ruin someone's life over something stupid, it's real and anyone who pretends it's not is sticking their head in the sand.. Someone saying they don't like what you said is free speech, someone trying to find out where you live, who your employer is, calling to try to get you fired etc that goes way beyond free speech. He's financed a ton to buy Twitter.
