Far Cry 4: Official Thread

I can say my Far Cry days are over, after finishing the game and all of the relevant side stuff I'm burnt out on it. I traded it in the other day while I could still get something for it. Great times while it lasted though :)

Yeah, I'm done, too. I finished the last side-mission that held any interest. Then I lost the game save, intentionally, when I re-initialized my PS4 (to correct a persistent problem), so I couldn't go back to the game now, even if I wanted to -- unless I wanted to start a new game, that is, which I don't. I rarely replay these kind of games.

But as you say, fun while it lasted.

The PS4 doesn't save to the cloud?

Haven't finished this game yet, but yeah it is pretty long. Not a bad thing though, just a lot to do. Unfortunately I've been pretty busy and trying to play a mix of other games as well. Hopefully will get back into it here soon.

Anyone get the Yeti dlc? I did, but have barely played it. Can't decide if I'm tired of the game, but the dlc feels cheap somehow, and I think that has a lot to do with it. I am really done with season passes (for real this time!). I always feel burned by the content, either by the quality (FC4), or how long it takes to come out (Bioshock Infinite, every single Telltale game).

I hear ya, that's why I have yet to purchase a season for any game. I think by the time I finished FC4 I had enough of my fill.

I just threw a grenade at the back of a guy's head instead of a knife. Oops. Why do I forget to record these moments?

IDK if I'd be able to have to start a new, even if I had only been halfway through...

I was really worried I'd regret it, but I have had a ton of fun starting over. I'm getting to experience the missions I declined, and what can I say other than the gameplay and structure is very, very addicting.

My main gripe with FC4 was that you got too powerful too early. Before the halfway point of the game I was a Commando era Arnie ass kicker. It made the second act a lot less enjoyable to play through. I wish the skill tree had been limited more until you unlocked the North or added more new skill sets when you do unlock the North.
