I'm really enjoying FIFA. So much better than the s*** show last year.Anyone bought one this year? Same old games or actually improved for a change?
Not surprising at all.
i am glad tbh... PES hasnt grabbed me in any of the games this gen, they have been so poor

i guess its going to FIFA? i would love if 2k got it and made a fresh new football game based around CL lol
PES does one thing well - AI. In Fifa, the CPU just sprints at you all the time all over the pitch. Meanwhile, your teammates stand 10 yards off.
Fifa hits everything else really well with the animations and ball physics, but the AI is just horrible. For the offline player there really isn't much depth there. Even as a soccer challenged American I can tell how there's little strategy to it. You just ping pong pass the ball up otherwise the CPU is all over you.
Don’t ya mean 96, I heard 95 was their prime year? But I guess since they release each game with the year before the year it’s stating so it kinda makes sense it’d be 95…Doesn't this company ever learn?
EA: Hating them more every year since 1995.
He back! How are you bro? Hope things are a bit cheery for you.Doesn't this company ever learn?

The greed of this company is terrible. They make crap tonnes from FIFA sales and then earn crap tonnes more from Ultimate team.
Yeah. The amount of crap in FIFA is ridiculous. Referree decisions. Passes go in the complete opposite direction than where you aim. The AI mistakes are mind boggling. Tackles that do nothing. Ball physics that defy logic. I could keep going on for a while.Their sports games are trash and aren't worth paying for anyway. The non-existent AI makes the games unplayable single player and the horrible catch up logic is completely artificial. My friends all got together to play an NHL online GM mode years ago and every game we played against each other had a comeback in it. At first we thought it was just because we were pretty evenly matched, but then you see the BS mistakes that an AI player makes at a critical time leaving something wide open.
You're better off being down a goal in the last few minutes, that way the tilt will be in your favor at the end.

There is no consistency to anything.
Yep.What I can't stand is that little animation stutter that happens when your player touches the ball, that never happens to any AI players. Like you get a bit of space and put a good pass in, but you get the stutter and it gives the AI time to regroup. The ball actually bounces a little behind you like you misplayed it or the pass wasn't quite accurate (and the passes are always laser accurate). It doesn't matter if it is one of the top players in the world, they still seem unable to control a ball at their feet when you are controlling them. You also move like you're stuck in the mud. Suddenly your player takes an eternity to make even the slightest turn.
Rather than make the AI smart enough to just cover properly to begin with, they do things like this. Your player is wide open but by the time he actually controls the ball, the AI is all over you. Of course, the AI can just laser beam the ball from player to player.
There is no consistency to anything.
The machine learning I said they had...Well that's simply not true. Its consistently inconsistent.
The machine learning I said they had...
“A cutting-edge proprietary machine learning algorithm learns from over 8.7 million frames of advanced match capture, then writes new animations in real time to create organic football realism across a variety of interactions on the pitch,” EA claims.
