That neat 4K interpolation does wonders. People tried to dis it even tho it was a proven technique in older games. Imagine what it would do for PC gaming running 4k and 8k resolutions.

Not quite the same comparison. The Xbox one had their e-ram that helped make up some of the difference in speed, but only if the dev knew how to use it properly. But both systems still had the same overall amount (relatively speaking) . This is about MORE ram that is also faster. It should, in theory, make a bigger difference than what we saw comparing Xbox one and PS4. But we will find out in not too much longer.
The 8GB GDD5 of the PS4 was MUCH faster (and proven in certain games) then the ddr3 and esram combo.
He's not lying though. DF said the same thing. Hardware wise, there's nothing on the market to contend with Scorpio in the home console space. It's just a fact. Hard fact for some, but fact nonetheless.

I don't need to tell you. You know this already. To be more direct in the quote from DF, he stated Scorpio is much more powerful and does everything better. There is absolutely nothing the Pro does better than Scorpio.

With PS4 and Xbox One, mere pixel and Fps were damn near generational leaps. Now, whole hardware specs at near generational levels are being labeled as "a little bit more powerful." lol. Fuk me..

I love how people are acting like more/faster memory is some big surprise, we knew it had 12GB when it was first shown, we knew it would be faster too. The issue is if you are going for native 4K which Spencer keeps saying they are (yes there isn't a mandate we know this) you need that for modern games.
Generational leap? a 1.8 TF difference is not anywhere near a generational leap, neither is a CPU that's only going to get about 10.5% more performance than the one in the Pro according to a dev on neogaf who actually works on the damned thing. Just some perspective the PS4 Pro has a 2.4 TF advantage over the PS4, the games look better on Pro but it's not anywhere near a generational leap and you aren't going to get a generational leap going from 4.2 to 6 it's not even close.

Odd. DF came out with a video spread and confirmed everything Flynn said. Some seem super vulnerable right now. I get it. The Pro will be obsolete. That's a tough pill to swallow. I don't the need to make it personally however. It's just games, yo.

Just douche and the fishy smell will go away. As far as DF, I don't recall them EVER saying it was a generational difference, and the CPU info they have was given to them by MS, it's not like he got to test it out. It's still a jaguar that only runs at 200mhz higher than the one in the Pro, it's an OLD cpu with customizations but it's still and older weaker CPU. It's getting more performance yes but not a whole lot and it was never meant to, scorpio is about getting games to look prettier. Hell DF even said the CPU wasn't capable of pushing 30 fps games to 60 fps, they said it's not that big of a jump.
It's not just GPU. There's much more to the hardware than that, Jinca. You're taking one part from a much bigger picture and calling it a day. Scorpio in its entirety is damn near an entire PS4 worth of power over pro. Come on, breh.
Remember when Mcmasters spent years downplaying power and saying it was all about games? Those were the days. Wonder why he changed his tune.
