Ghost Recon: Wildlands

How do you progress the game? I have done all the story missions in the first area, interrogated everybody but nothing has popped up. Am I suppose to just drive to a new area or something?
The yellow Intel pieces of paper will open up new areas

You do what ever you want. There is no direct progress. Take down the various lieutenants and bosses and work your up up the chain to the main guy. You can move between areas at will. Each area has a level suggesting how hard the enemies are but there is nothing to stop you entering the areas.

Yeah but that is what I was saying, I have done all in the first area. Doesn't matter now, you just drive to a new area and carry on.

Yep. You don’t even need to clear all an area before moving on. Killing some of the bosses gets you unique weapons so I took them out in in the order to get certain guns. It gives you loads of freedom.

This is a game where the PC version was the entire difference between hating the game and actually enjoying it.

I tried it on the X1 and I hated it. Pc version almost seems like a different game. So silky smooth.

I haven't had any issues with performance on the X1X. Seems to work great, other than I still hate the driving physics. Flying choppers is awesome and I love the controls.

Yeah I admit I am a little snobby when it comes to 30fps anymore. I'm allergic to it.

Well honestly the X1 and PS4 version do have a lot of frame rate drops, X1 more so than PS4. But the PS4 Pro and especially X1X version are a solid 30fps.

Can anyone help me get past that stupid invisible monster in the woods? I have tried like 30 times, including co-op :(

Is this game any good? Bought it a long time ago and never got around to playing it

That one’s a biatch, as well as the Splinter Cell one.

Took my buddies and I several tries to get the Predator one done. We never got the Spliter Cell one finished. The no alarms thing got us every time.

f*** this game is long. If feels like I have been playing it forever. Getting all the Kingslayer files, all the bonus, all the skill points, all the side missions like stealing planes and helo's, dying and of course the actual missions.

I spent an hour getting some intel by having to methodically clear out an area, only to show on the map where more weapons can be found. Sheesh.

I actually like the game a lot, but doing all these things is feeling like rinse and repeat. I decided to now fly in, land on a building, getting shot, run in and get the intel and run back to the chopper (if it hasn't blown up) and take off as fast as I can. If the chopper is gone, then I RUN RUN RUN until I am not longer on the hunted status.

I am about ready to just focus on the missions, and my character is maxed out at 30. But those extra items build up your cool down period for mortars and the like, so it's hard to NOT go get that stuff.

I don't know if I can get Ghost Recon Breakpoint after this. I assume it is more of the same.

Stats show I have 120 hours, 2030 enemies killed, traveled 1540 miles and died 114 times. Besides COD multiplayer, this is probably the longest single player campaign I have played. And the progression on the save file says only 60%!!! I hope that is campaign only, because I got a LOT OF STUFF done.

I have this game but still haven't gotten around to it. Life has been hectic and will probably continue to be hectic over the next few weeks, but once it settles down I'm hoping to thoroughly find some time to lose myself in games again.

You can lose yourself in this game. I think I got 6-8 hours in yesterday.

From what I’ve played of Breakpoint it’s a really fun single player experience. I quit playing so I could continue on the Series X.

In July, I bought Breakpoint $11.99....and I totally forgot. I went to buy it now and it said I already owned it

I liked Wildlands more overall, but Breakpoint does have more satisfying gunplay IMO
