Right. Now days it's about racers, FPS, 3rd person, indies, etc. MGS just seems dated these days. No matter how relevant they've tried to make it, it just can't shake off the smell of yesteryear's. This is why many really aren't bothered by the recent announcement. When you think Kojima, you think MGS. That property is beloved all over the world. But that doesn't mean people haven't moved on to better things. It's nothing personal.
I'm not. I'm just thorough. Snake/MGS is dated. Even here people regard it like it's an old General from days past. He's got great War stories to tell, but he passed his mantle long, long ago. That's Snake.

Part of my point...he says he don't care but yet has posted multiple times in this thread and discredited the mans work when the mans peaking right now.
Peaking with what? I'm not a jealous person. I have my own success. I have no reason to hate on Kojima. I have no desire to develop games. I write for a living and I'm quite fine with it. I have no reason to hate on him. And it's not him per say where the problem lies. It's his ancient product he keeps resurrecting. If you can t handle it, perhaps it is you who shouldn't be in the thread. Take your emotions out of the conversation. It isn't personal.
If you don't know how Kojima is peaking then I really don't what else to say to you about this.
People here are mad because he isn't with Xbox and its pretty clear but I entertain them anyway.
Let's be real. The guy got Dev of the year because of his plight with his old company. Gamers and journalists are throwing favor his way out of sympathy for the man. And I noticed the most recent mgs did well review wise. That's great. But if your telling me that isn't a title that saw its hay day long ago, and is just as relevant today as it was decades ago, you're lying to yourself. I was over mgs with 2. That's me...
I promise you bruh, it's not that in my case. If there is an exception, I'm it. I'm no where near mad at the Sony/Kojima exclusive. I even said in this thread how I saw it coming and I wish him all the best. I'm just hoping there's more to Kojima than MGS. Something more relevant and timely. As it sits now, Kojima is the same as being type casted. He'll. Snake could prove to be the nail in Kojima's coffin. What if gamers raise a fuss over getting another MGS and Kojima isn't about that anymore? What if gamers want another MGS but Kojima is like, "but look at this new thing I'm doing?" You're not seeing things down the line, and instead invest petty emotions on an arrangement that will have its day regardless of who's a fan and who's not.
In the gaming world you and anybody here that don't think this is a potentially big thing are in the minority.
Possibly unless the game is so good that him and Sony decide to continue the relationship kinda like Epic/MS did.
Of course it's a big deal. Who said any different? I'm simply stating that based on what Kojima has given us so far, I'm not too excited for the possibilities of anything more than a war hero with PTSD and split personality disorder who likes to hide in boxes from over sized mechs.
