Megaton: Mini NES by nintendo with 30 games $60

Well I "got" one. We'll see if the order actually goes through. Amazon tried screwing me over with an extra step in the checkout process asking about Prime or something. But right after the order they were gone again.

Not really. It's going for $140 - $300 on eBay. Always always always check sold listings.

It's not about what it's "going for" on ebay...my post was this is what 3rd party sellers on Amazon were "trying" to sell it for.

I got busy at work and didn't get on until 5 after. It let me put one in my cart but it never actually went into my cart. Page is locked up now.

Yep. It's not too late to snag one because they still haven't made them available.

People need to get their heads on straight. These are 25 year old games you can get anywhere to play now. People are paying more for this than a PS4 Pro right now. AYFKM?????

I'll get one later. Done with the madness.

Totally agree. Was fun trying to snag one, but will move on. Most likely would've collected dust.

Link? oh Amazon. Good luck with that. Sellers are hoping an idiot buys at that price.

I used to sell games on Amazon and eBay with 2600+ feedback (8000+ items sold).

PS4 Pro is $400+ whereas the going price for NES Classic Edition is between $140-$300. People are paying more than PS4 Pro?

You can pocket an easy $150 - $200 profit by putting it on ebay. I would do that in a heartbeat.

Think of it this way, these things are going to be stacked to the ceiling after Christmas. You've waited 25 years to replay these old 8-bit games for a bit of nostalgia...what's waiting a couple more months to do so?

Anyone that can find 2 of these Nintendo Classics can use the profits to get a PS4 Pro for free. (And still get one of the Nintendo Classics at a later date no problem).

Not screwing over fellow gamers?
I'm a fellow gamer.

One who is in control of my decision on how much I spend on this like any other fellow gamer. My price is $60 but for others it's $250. No one is being forced. Lack of patience doesn't equal being screwed. Capitalism, son.

Maybe but also easily some of the best sports games. Personally owned NHLPA 93, Madden 94, and NBA Jam. Only rented Ken Griffey Jr but it was great. Plus NHLPA 93 has the true Winnipeg Jets!

This thing has been <crickets> since release. Yes, you still have the Amazon 3rd party people "asking" over $200 apiece for one. But let's be real, Nintendo hasn't restocked since launch day and if these units were actually selling for over $200 then the re-sellers would be out of their limited stock by now. No doubt they will dig in the trench with those prices until Christmas or a 2nd wave releases.

Nintendo stated that more would be coming but I haven't heard of anyone receiving a re-stock yet. I've got a feeling it should be happening some time very soon so anyone with retailer connections keep us posted if you hear something. That is if it matters, 2nd wave will mostly never hit the retail shelf for those who can buy them from the stockroom.

I knows ToysRUs had them on Sunday, Target has had some here and there, some random places have had them online, and Best Buy is getting some on the 20th. I have stopped trying though as its not worth the trouble.

Just based on Reddit Nintendo stores are getting random small batches. Best bet might be the Nintendo store in NYC...

A buddy brought one in at work and we have all been kinda dicking around with it for a few days. I'm actually glad I didn't get one. The Nostalgia was good for about fifteen minutes. Games have come too far, imo. Curiosity, nothing more.

I still haven't seen this thing show up on shelves or in-stock online. WTF are you doing Nintendo? Now with Switch coming out next month will they even continue producing the Classic NES? It would be stupid not to but they have lost a ton of revenue by not supplying these to the market.

Run now to Amazon...they are in stock for $59.99!!! I just got one!

Woot!

Now that people have found a way to add more games including SNES and Genesis its been amazing having one

I'm guessing they're not in stock anymore.

Yeah, not even going to bother checking.

Yeah no bother checking. I was surprised they were in stock for about an hour today. I had told my brother and he dilly-dallied and waited too long. He's kicking himself bigtime because I told him not to wait.
