Who feckin said anything, ANYTHING about defending any plastic or how much anyone loves their purchase? Who said anything about utter falsehoods, lies and personal attacks!? I simply said no one is saying that DX12 will magically catapult the X1 over the PS4? The only personal attacks seem to manifest from your own mind....or.....something. Seriously man? DUDE! For the last time...no one is saying that DX12 will propel the X1 ahead of the PS4 in hardware. It looks to do some amazing things as far as software is concerned, but thats it. Lol, and now it is official: XB1 has the first next gen GPU of DX12, just like the XB360 was then. So much of the "BX1 has the 7770 GPU from the so called "Pro gaming sites", lol:

Phil had already hinted after DX12 was revealed at the GDC 2014:

DirectX 12 supports all AMD GCN GPUs.

You really should calm down. While this will help alot, it isn't going to really be a game changer until devs start to fully code for the API. As such, the XB1 hardware is fixed so any improvements will only be on the software side and have yet to fully materialize.

Yes it supports all GCN GPUs, but DirectX is exclusive to the XB1. How other platforms are able to see similar performance gains is entirely dependent upon their own unique tools. Of course I'm talking in the console space because the PC platform really has no such barrier.

Thoughts on specifically what I'm going to eat crow about? Exactly what is it that you suppose will magically happen? Have I not said DX12 will help out games on the new consoles? Perhaps some other magical event will take place and I'll be forced to eat this crow of which you speak, but it would be interesting to hear examples.

I need some evidence of the new hardware or the Wikipedia edits are going to be deleted and we are all going to look silly.

Also, I don't think that homemade slides quoting lots of unrelated sources with some uninformed opinion is going to cut it.

ps4 will always have more shaders and Teraflops, what I think we'll see is more higher frame rate in games, it won't be as taxing to reach 60fps.

I expect xbox to use its display planes and run games at xyz/1080p like halo 2 and the latest cod game.

Halo 5 is another game will run at 60fps with 1080pr res.

now the debate will be which is better higher fps or more native res?

if gpu does have some special hw design than even better.

Zero dropped frames, perfectly locked fps would be pretty great even in the most demanding games where you normally expect frame drops.

no infact PS4 always been less shader
plus less CPU cores much less

X1 has 6 CU group it is listed on XDK leak
PS4 using X1 definition is 2 CU group
 
to people keep forgetting what is feature level
this info infact well presented in many AMD documentation or DX12 pdf

They have the same 8 core Jaguar CPU, although Xbox One's is clocked higher.

I don't know why you have posted an Intel slide, both are AMD.

Also, despite your nonsense claims, PS4 has 1152 and Xbox One 768, the Xbox One's are clocked higher (as you know).

I don't know if you are genuinely trolling or are actually a flat, young Earth creationist at this point.

The AMD Jaguar isn't a powerhouse but it is perfectly able to be utilised by DX 12 in multicore form, as Microsoft has stated that Xbox One will see the benefits.

Now it is time for you to 'use your brain' and provide empirical evidence of a different CPU...

To all the preachers of dx12... Calm down. We can only hope that it will lead to a new evolution in gameplay! Heck, we've barely scratched what all the new consoles can do!

It's a bit early to be featuring crow tar-tar. Bird will only be consumed when we actually see some real-world results. Hopefully you aren't the one eating that dish.

How can anyone trumpet something that hasn't been shown? What does it gain you to do so, other than retaliatory console-wars BS?
