I hope you're not serious. This place is great, but I've seen things go days without being announced here. Gaming news is not on par here, simple as that.

Maybe they'll learn something, and make this site more open.

But I do concede to your point that this forum isn't the quickest draw in the West for news.
I don't know of any similar to GAF. I use sites like Pulse (news aggregator), but GAF always turns up unique stuff. You could use Reddit, I suppose; I don't like that format.

I tried to use their gaming subs, but it just seems like a bunch of funny vids or they were slower than gaf.

I quit reading gaf for about 15 months and relied mainly on reddit. When i started reading gaf again the big thing i missed out on was gamergate. I completely missed it.
They were pissing me off one day and I bet myself I could ban my self in a single day if i didn't make love to their favorite Sony branded console and it worked. It was that easy and I was a member since 2003.
Well its faster now.

Considering other recent sexual assault and harassment scandals in recent weeks, it's encouraging to see the site's moderators make an unequivocal statement against Malka's actions. The future of the site remains unclear, however; will the site return at some point? If not, where will its readers migrate to? Social media now does a lot of the work NeoGAF did back in the day, but having a centralized hub that was easier to archive and read through for news gave the forum a strong appeal.

Yup it was so easy and predictable. Neogaf was the Jonestown of console warriors and elitists.
Make no mistake. The celebration that you are seeing in response to neogaf's downfall is a direct repudiation of the forum's toxicity and vile treatment of opposing opinions. To a large degree, it is also a repudiation of the extremist leftists and their agenda who plagued the forum as well.
He'd want to be careful making statements like that considering he's a public representative of xbox.
