I am really trying to convince myself to not get a U but I can't go too long without some Mario, Zelda and Kong.

Just do it lol. It has some great games right now and I imagine Iwata is going to troll us with another direct in about 2 weeks
Shin'en is teasing a new game for the E-Shop besides FAST which sounds pretty exciting.
"When talking about future releases, we revealed our next Nintendo WiiU game, Fast Racing Neo. I can't post too many information at the moment, but I can cconfirm, that this will not be a simple port or remake of the Wii version. It will be a standalone, full new product and we try it to create the most exciting eShop game in 2014. Plus there is another WiiU game I'm currently working on. It should get revealed in the next weeks, but that's all I'm allowed to write."

I beat the main game of Super Mario Bros U last night, with maybe an average of 3/4 of the stars for each area. I went back to the first area and got all the stars except for the final castle and some secret area. I also tried a couple levels from Luigi U which is interesting. Very short levels with only 100 second time limit. Not sure if I will continue to beat Luigi U or just put the game on hold for a while and start Pikmin 3. Choices choices.
Yea. Only thing telling me to wait is I'm playing Ni No Kuni right now for my main story based game at the moment.
How is Ni No Kuni ? Have been some time since I played my ps3 now (and specially since I plugged in the Wii U).
Visiting this thread makes me want a Wii U... Might have to get one.
I wonder if they even bother using the gamepad in the Wii U version of AC4.

Taking a long break from Wind Waker. I am sick with the flu so I am out of commission for the next few days. I picked up Assassin's Creed IV with some Christmas gift cards today. I haven't played an AC game since AC II and I've heard nothing but good things about this one, so I am eager to try it out.
I was originally disappointed in the Wii until I realized it had more than enough enjoyable games to keep me busy. The Wii is a great console but it had too much sholvelware and people thought it was a s***** console. The Wii had over 60 quality games I didn't know existed.
Yea I had a Wii for only a couple months before selling it to a co-worker. Probably missed a lot of good stuff after that but until then it was just garbage.

Yea I just got mine for $190 a little over a week ago as well. Although I did get $15 gift card along with it so it's not too bad.
So tempted to do this, I have never owned a DS, I am just not sure how much I would use a handheld gaming device, I like my Xbox when I have time for gaming. I do love Mario games and would love to play some Mario Kart right now! How is the game that comes installed with this one?
This is my first handheld as well. I haven't tried the Dream Team game but it's supposed to be pretty good, if you like RPGs. I think it's more turn based though. I only play the 3DS once in a while and only game I've tried on it is Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. Otherwise you've got a 2D Mario game, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart, etc
Don't think it will ever be a huge time sink for me but most likely I will start using it during my commute or once in a while play games like Donkey Kong. Only game I know I will be spending time on is Bravely Default.
Splinter Cell BL, Shinobi and Super Hang On. Splinter Cell is a really good game will probably have it finished today or tomorrow and Sega just knocked the 3DS games out of the park.
I'm playing Link Between Worlds on 3ds, Mario 3d World here and there and some eshop stuff. Haven't opened Wonderful 101 yet, and have lots of games I want to jump back into. I probably won't resist Tropical Freeze, then I'll put off W101 even longer.
