It looks like Nintendo are developing a new next gen console.
Are you still interested in Nintendo consoles?
Are you still interested in Nintendo consoles?
Releasing a new console won't fix their current problems, unless Nintendo has becoming an entirely different company. And that will never happen.
As long as they start making systems without gimmicks I'll definitely be interested.
This is actually a multiplatform/device thing, no?
I'm still confused.
"Developing a dedicated gaming platform with a brand new concept" doesn't scream beast.
Maybe VR?
YES! Another gimmick system!
Sad thing is Wii U is a great console but people's taste suck so they won't buy it.I remember when dumb arses said Nintendo was done during the GameCube days, then they released the wii lol.
Thats what I'm afraid of.
I hope It's at least twice as powerful as the PS4.
Didn't you get rid of yours?Sad thing is Wii U is a great console but people's taste suck so they won't buy it.
If it's a new home console, wouldn't that mean that they are cutting the Wii U's lifecycle short? I mean, if they announce it in 2016, presumably they'd release it in holiday 2017. That would mean the Wii U would be a lame duck in 2016, then dead/dying in 2017. I guess 5 years isn't that short (Wii U launched in 2012, so the lifecycle would be 2012 to 2017), but it's shorter than cycles have been lately.
Of course, we don't know that it's a home console. With Nintendo, it could be anything.
yup but that's after supporting it and plan on re-purchasing.Didn't you get rid of yours?
Nintendo console cycles are always 5-6 years.
