No argument there. All disappointment is because we were
hoping Ninty would go with a top-tier power console again. If you've been reading the thread, nearly all of us have been expecting Nintendo to do just what these rumors are now saying. Nintendo is driven by it's fanbase, and that is precisely why they need to get competitive with their hardware and make it easier for 3rd party devs to get on board.
Chasing Wii's success is like a heroine addict trying to get that first high. It ain't happening again. The Wii was an anomaly of right gimmick, right time, and fad status. If they can't successfully get (and keep) solid 3rd party support, then they will be relegated to secondary console status again.
If the Lack of x86 is true, then they screwed themselves. Developers are not going to waste the time and money it takes to make a separate version from scratch. Hell, look at some of the grumbling there is over the Neo, and it's just a pumped up PS4 (supposedly)!
Of course, maybe this is all wrong and they release an X86 Beast, lol. Or the Neo is really the NX
