Tried it out and it's all awesome so far. Love the fact that we get more coins out of it and the new map is awesome. Very cool. Love that each G&G map is different. Specifically in how it ends.
All that new DLC is free in PvZ. This is game of the year so far on Xbox One. 200 new customization items, new map, new characters, level cap increased from 20 to 30 per character, second free DLC so far...TAKE THAT TITANFALL! (sorry, but that game was hyped so far when PvZ should have been instead)
Man, been playing lots of Gnome Bomb to scoop up some cheevos and I never had so much fun playing that mode. It seems like the competitiveness is really good in that one. Love it when it a serious back and forth gets going. Those are always the best. Takes me back to some Halo CTF. Good times.
This game just gets better and better so many updates they are on too of things and free dlc you just can't complain. Also I agree I like it better then titanfall.
Wow, after playing yesterday a good deal...all the stuff I mentioned, they updated even more than that. What an update. This is how you update a game for free! Assist scores added, new ways to get coins, friends highlighted in big green letters now, new potted plants, new characters, new items, new achievements, better balance of coins per team, they highlighted the Chili Bean Bomb now, etc.
All this game needs is a few more tweaks & it's dang near perfect...here's the full notes:

The only two things I would still add to the game are I feel the Plants just need a tiny bit extra & what I would do would be make it so if there's less than 2-3 Zombies in the Zone they cap just a tiny bit slower, if there are more than 2-3 then they cap at the regular rate they are now. Also, I'd make your ammo counter turn red when you get real low in the clip so you see it out of the corner of your eye. Even more Gardens & Graveyards maps would be nice too.

Yeah, exactly, this game is probably the best deal on Xbox right now for the price. My buddy got it used for $25 on disc, although I'd encourage people to pick it up new to support these developers at Pop Cap who made a great game, great patch, & tons of free DLC.
It's official now, GW is my first game where I've gone over a 100 hrs in. Pretty crazy. Just such a fun and memorable game.

It's fun & definitely worth it. The best game on Xbox One really, I've been saying it all along. Battlefield 4 is the only other game that can compete with Plants Vs. Zombies. Everybody should pick it up!
The thing I like the most about it is that it has a tinge of Titanfall to it. What I mean by that is you can still feel like you are contributing even if you arent having a particularly good round.
You may have only been able to revive and heal a bunch of teammates, but that might good enough for you to end up second or third on your team leader board.
And I didnt even mention garden ops. Its a third person team action version of the tower defense game. So good.

Just got the defuse achievements for Gnome Bomb. Didn't think I was ever gonna get the last second one. I recommend using an All-Star and putting up a couple of shields to defend yourself. I also recommend not just rushing in, but defending whoever goes in for defusing.
Yeah, you have to start at around 10 seconds to get the :03 seconds left or under Gnome defuse achievement.
Yeah so, this game is awesome. Why is no one talking more about it?. If you own an X1, and have even a passing interest in multiplayer games, you should own this. If I would have known how good it was, id have had it the day I got my X1. It's quite honestly soooo much fun, and quite easily my favorite X1 game so far. great mechanics, distinct and fun class system, tons of unlockables and customization items, great game modes...its fantastic. I hope this becomes a franchise, because I will be buying a new iteration in this series whenever it hits. Big thanks to the praisers in this thread, because I probably wouldn't have given the game a second glance otherwise. Word of mouth combined with a nice sale on amazon made me take the plunge, and im glad I did.
A lot of people think it's a "kid's game" or such, that's what I've heard from some of my friends & other people. Once you play it though, you realize how fun it is. They did a great job on tons of different things in this game. I wish it was more popular as well.

The praise this game get's not only on here but on a few more forums I frequent has got me interested. The game itself is not your conventional title I would buy, far from it in fact but it looks like mindless fun and that's what I am looking for at the moment. Game time is limited.

I would say just download the game & support the developers really. It's around 10 gigs. It's only $5 off used at Gamestop for $35. The game is only $40 normally, including the downloadable version so you might as well support Pop Cap & just buy it new or download it.
