If the majority of the time a game hits its targeted fram rate or resolution, I'd say the hardware is doing its job. X seems to be hitting that bullet point much more often however - with assets no less.

If that's the case, The X version better allow server filters to allow only playing against X gamers if someone wishes.
Playing against PC cheaters with aimbots and god mode will be stupid.
Are they adding Xbox - PC crossplay? If so I am cancelling my preorder. The reason to play on console is to avoid most of the cheaters.
After so many shooter that hit 60 fps. This running on 30fps can back fire on the developers.

Yeah I have to agree. This isn't the first time we have heard of something like this as have it with Destiny 2. The system's promise is of 4k not really hitting 60fps on all games.
For $30 I’m day one for the biggest game of the year. I just have to see what the hype is all about. It will be my first early access game also so I look forward to watching it grow and evolve also.
It will come with a free trial period as well. It could be anything from an hour upwards. So you don’t even need to buy it to try it.
Not worried about it being 60fps. They'll patch it when everything calms down. People got a point, you need a level playing field but it never stopped people with better PCs from having an advantage. Plus they got mouse/kb people playing with controller people these days but complain about fps? Okay, lol. You get what you pay for. If you buy an X, you should get the benefits. If you don't want to buy it, that's on you.
It is download only. If you buy the physical box at a store, it will just have a digital code.
60 doesn't have the advantage over 30. It doesnt make it get to the point quicker over the other.

It's just going to be popping up as 'Preview'. I don't think they usually do pre-loads or pre-purchases for those games for the most part.

If you have BestBuy’s GCU or amazon prime than you may want to buy it there, save a few bucks and it’s just the dl code with a box for pure display
This is actually technically untrue. Controls become much more responsive at 60fps.
Not sure this is my kind of game, I am a COD player and like fast run n gun style but for $30 ill check it out and see if the hype is real.
Was thinking the same thing but i heard you can just jump out of your helicopter wherever and get into a gunfight if that's what you want. Probably not the best way to endear your teammates who are trying hard to win but screw it.
that might be true but you still have to factor the internet speed, and skill set on the play them self.
