According to someone on GAF. Would be interesting but I know Shinobi said on a podcast Sucker Punch are not working on Infamous.
Looks like they will be announcing Persona 5 as February 2017 for the US. They will show more of the game at E3 though.

Nope Shinobi did not state what Sucker Punch were doing except they were not working on Infamous. The person who stated Insomniac is doing the Spiderman game has not been verified on GAF, so I am still sceptical of his claims.
Oh, yeah, that's pretty flimsy. Until he's verified, he's just some guy. Even then, "insiders" get things wrong all the time. Lots of people say lots of stuff, before E3.

I'd like to come up with an answer, but that's approximately item number 413 on my WTF list about this trailer. I've played a good deal of the FF series, and I recognize quite a few of the characters but it just doesn't make sense - it looks like they combined the old FF games and kids cartoons and wrapped something that strains to call itself a plot, but it kind of lost me with Squall looking like a pumpkin-headed character from Ni Hao Kai Lan.
Yeah the only insider I trust is Shinobi really. He was very non-committal on Sucker Punch whilst he openly talked about God of War 4 and Bend's game.
Yeah, Shinobi seems pretty trustworthy. What did he say about God of War 4 and Sony Bend's game? Anything specific?
He said on God of War not to get hung up on Kratos and that it will be real good. On Bend's game he dropped some recent hints actually: I made no direct comparisons to Mad Max. It's open world, survival apocalypse, undead, choppers, some black comedy…
He also said Knack 2 is real haha.

From what I got from what he was saying on the podcast Kratos will be in the game but he is not the main protaganist. We shall find out soon enough.
Hopefully they go with an actually likable character. I always though Kratos was a massive Emo Douche...
I've never actually played a God of War game. I tried, but like Frozpot said, I couldn't get into the main character. "Emo douche" didn't come to mind, lol, but more just another angry over-muscled dude driven by anger and rage, desire for vengeance, blah blah. I'm tired of that story.
Come on. There's no better feeling than playing as a character like Kratos and absolutely destroying everything. What kind of man are you Andy? Some kind of nice guy?

Recovering Nice Guy. Really, I just don't connect with protagonists who have high levels of anger and rage. I don't mind blood and gore, tearing off limbs, blowing the f*ck out of stuff -- that's all well and good -- but I need to be able to relate to or connect to the main character somehow, the one I'm playing, or else it all feels mechanical and alienating to me. My hope is that the next Kratos is an introverted, laid back, and low key guy who does a lot of reading.
I loved Kratos as a character. But I have to admit that throughout the 7 games or whatever, the character had very little depth.

It's not really the rage for me, but that he's not really justified in much of it, takes it waaaay too far, makes everything worse, and all of it is extremely selfish. He is protecting no one. He just randomly lets people die, kills "innocents" ect. He's a terrible character who is a complete a******. I don't know how anyone finds him relatable.
I am just hoping for some new interesting games. Apart from Bloodbourne, Horizon and No mans Sky the main Playstation line up this gen has been hugely disappointing for me.
Obviously having games like Motorstorm and Last of Us announced are extremely slim.
Hoping we see plenty more of Detroit with gameplay and copious details.
