lol what?
Kratos is one dimensional?
I'm not sure how else to say it. It worked. For a while

Greg miller inadvertently revealed Detroit Become Human will be at the conference as they are talking with the devs/showing demo's of Horizon, Detroit and other games on Tuesday.
The person who stated Insomniac doing the PS4 exclusive Spiderman on GAF got verified. Looks we could be getting Insomniac's Spidy game and Sucker Punch's new I.P. Hot damn.
All i know is there better be a new God of War game at E3. I don't even care if Kratos is the main character. Gran Turismo 7 would be welcomed as well. I need my exclusives Sony.
That would be good. We'd get something different from Sucker Punch, and I'd certainly trust Insomniac to do a good job with Spiderman. They have the chops, and they've dealt with as much swinging-around, open-world environments as Sucker Punch has. I hope he's right.

If they don't make Spider Man... and its Infamous they can keep it.
I'm pretty sure I read an article that said Sport IS GT7...GT 7 is highly unlikely. They have only just announced GT Sport.
With how long it takes PD to make a GT game I doubt a GT 7 will even come this generation.
I'm pretty sure I read an article that said Sport IS GT7...
Well, if it isn't a prologue, then it's a bit semantic...It didn't say that. Well,....if it is the same one I read it basically said that GT Sport could have been called GT 7. I just took that as more of the "this isn't a prologue."

It's GT. It's by Polyphony. It's a full game. It isn't GT 6. It is a sim racer. It's not a prologue game. It's GT 7 without the 7Not really. What about this game suggests it is GT 7? Car numbers are far too low. It is basically a last-gen port. This new game has a much bigger online emphasis.
It simply isn't GT 7.

Less cars because they are new models/rigs, yeah, for the same reason Forza 5 had fewer cars than Forza 4. It's called a full game. It's not a called a GT6 remaster either. So no, it's not GT6.It is GT6 though. It is GT6 with less cars and a re-imagined/re-designed online.

Then there is this

-Speaking during a round table attended by Digital Spy at the Gran Turismo Sport unveiling, Polyphony confirmed that the game could have been called Gran Turismo 7 after all.
-"The reason we called it Gran Turismo Sport was that we really wanted to incorporate the FIA events," explained Gran Turismocreator Kazunori Yamauchi.
"Thinking about it now, yeah, we could have called it Gran Turismo 7. But it's got so many features, we wanted it to be different."

It's GT 6. Have you seen the videos? looks and sounds just like GT 6.
Same article I read.
It could have been called Motorgran club too, but wasn't.
Like I said. Semantics. These quotes

Makes it pretty obvious that this is their next big GT game. Being similar to GT6 means nothing more than they didn't do enough do differentiate it from it's previous iterantion to be immediately apparent. This is the game they were working on. GT7 is not a separate project (as it seems from these statements).
What is obviously apparent is that it was never called GT 7. It is only in retrospect that he says it could have been. Which, if it was, would have been hilarious. A next-gen GT game that looks exactly like its last-gen counterpart, and with 90% less content.
I agree, it certainly doesn't SEEM like a worthy update (without playing it, anyway). It's not technically a port either. It's the next main GT game though. Whether it's hilarious or not doesn't really change that.
I would certainly expect sound updates (maybe they did, but they just are married to old methods? not sure).
There will be diminishing returns though, as GT has always had spectacular car models. Running 1080/60 will defintely limit how big a jump they can make from a visual standpoint, but perhaps they've made some strides in Physics. It's tough to tell from what we have seen, and the only real gameplay we've got is pretty compressed, so it probably will look a tad better. I will say, the artifacting 'round the cars looks like old engine stuff.
The photomode environs certainly look a step up at least...
Just because a sequel doesn't have the next number doesn't keep it from being a sequel. It's the next mainline GT game. I don't think there is some uber "actual next-gen" looking GT game in the works. Even if there were, they'd have spent so many resources making this stop-gap, that you might as well forget seeing another this gen.
