Multi-Platform Star Wars: Battlefront, putting the fun back into online shooters.

The game has gotten stale already....definitely need more maps ASAP.

The problem is I'm not sure maps are going to help. The maps don't really come into play very much at all, except for forest with cover vs open snow/desert. Honestly this game needs another fun, large scale mode in my opinion.

I would like an objective mode where you can play as the indigenous creatures of a specific map, like Wambas for example. So you would have the rebels/empire/creatures as the factions battling it out.

Ran into the invincibility glitch yesterday. Some dude was 40-1 and kept killing me and even though I had focused a ton of direct hits his health never budged from 100. Figure he was cheating and recorded it and reported him but latter looked it up and found out its an uncontrolled glitch.

I am hoping that the expansion packs bring more game modes. I think I've worn myself out with this game, putting probably more then 60 hours into it. I was excited for Jakku, and it is a nice map but for me it is more of the same. (seems to have more spots for the non objective playing campers too). What is funny is I'm a Star Wars fan and if it was labeled as Tattooine I probably wouldn't have batted an eye.

I would like to give SW: Battlefront a try but i can't really justify buying a game with no campaign right now. Not at $60, when i already have plenty of games to play. It just seems like a waste and i never hesitate to waste money.

Yeah, for me, the idea that you pay 60 for an MP only title that has a massive DLC plan that will split the base is silly. Not only that, but the DLC will pribably be half the end experience. So instead of justifying a lack of a campaign mode with a s*** ton of maps and modes, they give you hALF of half the experience. No thanks.

You know I could swear they had a game that did that. What game was it..

Ehh maybe it was just my imagination.

I'll probably get it when it drops to $30 just because i'm a Star Wars fan. Can't hold out forever!

It's EA. Just like UBI, prices drop fast.... although the Star Wars name can perhaps carry the price for a while.

BF Hardline came out for EA Access only about 6 months after launch.

All the digital editions on the xbox store are on sale right now, with gold. I don't know about anywhere else.

The $120 edition brought down to 90. Well golly aint that a steal. :meh:

On sale for PS4 as well (well it just was at least, I didn't look today). Looks like they need to start pushing some copies.

My sons and I rented this on Redbox and had a fun weekend with it. As others have said it looks good and it nails the sound and look of the SW universe but it really needs more content.

My son actually went back and played Battlefront 1 & 2 after we returned the game.

I get the criticism, but feel like what the game has to offer is far larger than most have make it out to be. I've sunk a massive amount of time into it the last few days, and there are far more maps than I was expecting, it just requires you to move around between all the modes.

I easily got my $60 worth out of it. If people didn't know about $50 worth of DLC, I don't think the opinions would be as harsh. Just because it exists doesn't mean people have to buy it. I have no idea if I will get any DLC or not.

I heard it sold 12 million copies? That's crazy. Hey guys, want to print money? Just make an average shooter and slap the Star Wars skin on it!

Not that it's average, i haven't even played it but.. come on. 12 million copies and not even a campaign to speak of?

Last weekend was my time to shine I guess. A couple drop zone matches I went like 30-5, and another one that went into sudden death I went like 80-30 lol. That match was dumb because we were up 4-2 anyways so we were going to win no matter what.
