Multi-Platform Star Wars: Battlefront, putting the fun back into online shooters.

I hate endor on most modes. Other than being beautiful it's terrible. The speeders are silly, they should built a "track" so that players wouldnt need to turn around so much with objectives placed inside them. They're fun to fly but endor isn't catered at all. Imagine a map like that speeder training mission that loops around with infantry combat going on inside and on it.

Last weekend was my time to shine I guess. A couple drop zone matches I went like 30-5, and another one that went into sudden death I went like 80-30 lol. That match was dumb because we were up 4-2 anyways so we were going to win no matter what.

Lots of Christmas noobs. I played a few games of Walker Assault after the holiday and it was like watching a monkey hump a football. Lots of clueless players running around.

I was on the rebel team and the walkers didn't even have a scratch on them at the end of the round. The only damage was me shooting at them... :(

It's worse on Gears. Same deal every holiday. Little Timmy and Johnny get their Xbox for Christmas and these games go to absolute s*** for a few weeks until they all realize they can't play games that take skill.

Yeah, the sale for $40 on Xbox One is what made me jump.

DICE if you have such an erection for this 2 person partner thing, why not design more 2 seater vehicles you big dummies? Let me just abandon my partner everytime I get into a vehicle.

Why not "Player one has entered a Tie Fighter, press X to enter as rear gunner" or whatever vehicle.

Which is crazy because there are vehicles vehicles are for TWO in the first place. The Airspeeder on Hoth was a 2 crew vehicle. Talk about a missed opportunity.

Even better. And also aren't the AT-AT 2 seaters? I know Tie fighters are because of the Force Awakens, unless they upgraded the cockpit space lol

This game was generally boring for me. And only ever 60% full for any game I played. The whole unlocks thing was very annoying. The tutorial sucked and did nothing in the slightest to teach you about the new game. I deleted the game after 4 hours of play.

Before I pay for the season pass I want to hear some reviews to see if the devs learned how to make decent maps where I am not getting snagged on every branch and rock around or finding a ledge I can jump up, that sits right next to an almost identical, but inch higher ledge, that I cannot climb.

I would hold off on the season pass. Pretty sure everything released so far has been free anyways. Not even sure what the season pass will actually include.

Does anyone still play this game? I tell you one thing, DICE better bring their A game for BF 5, because they are losing it, imo.

It's incredibly popular on consoles, I believe the Outer Rim DLC is still one of the top selling add ons on PSN a few weeks later. Can find full matches on every mode almost instantly.

It's a great game, they've added a ton of free content since launch. Definitely my favorite multiplayer shooter of the last few years.

I don't think many will argue it's a good game, just the depth and initial value left much to be desired. It's also graphically stunning.

That's what makes it fun. It isn't intense. It isn't deep. You don't need a team to play.

There are quite a few people still on X1. It often cracks the top 10 most played. Not all the time, but still has a big player base.

The Outer Rim expansion is fun, they just need some better small map gametypes. The capture the flag type is just terrible. Good luck if you see more than one or two caps as it is so easy to kill. Still good mindless fun though.

We've all been starved for star wars for so long, it's no surprise that the first game with some money behind it has the player base this one's found.

screw greedo and the pancake kid though. You got characters like Lando, chewbacca, even old ben, and you choose 2 characters with less than 4 minutes of screen time between them.

"MEMORABLE CHARACTERS SUCH AS"

I will say, the game's plus' are that is is gorgeous, sound is superb, everything is spot on how it is supposed to look. That's about where it ends though.

They're both a ton of fun to play as.

I'm sure it is a total coincidence that those character models were already in the game, so all they had to do is re-skin them to make heroes.

Or maybe they added a Sullustan because they had 2 new maps on Sullust, and a character directly tied to Jabba when they had 2 new maps associated with Jabba's Palace.

Rumor is the sequel to Republic Commando will run on this exact engine.

Game is alright. Haven't touched it in a while and in fact deleted it to make room for Division and Quantum Break. I agree though initial value was pretty garbage tier so only way I'd get DLC pass is if it was like $10. Considering the game is on sale every other week on Live it shouldn't take long.

They should have a game mode that is AT-AT vs AT-AT, and the teams should control them the whole time.

Bump - the latest dlc is actually tons of fun for those that may have the season pass and forgot. Cloud City maps that are much larger and more fun (perfect if you didn't like the 1st dlc and tiny maps).

Good timing, I just got around to trying it out today. Definitely a lot of fun, great looking maps, and both heroes are fun to play as.
