I thought they already had secured it, or at least applied for it a while ago, could this be another agent to secure said funds?
Original was $5.1 billion. This is for more I think. Probably to plan ahead for if Activision goes through .
They had more (18 billion), I just thought they had already announced they had received more already….like I think they went down to about 4 billion.

They’ve been very outspoken about wanting to stay independent, but so did insomniac and Bungie. Maybe they’ll go the Bungie route, since I don’t see them lining up with wanting to keep dlc and upgrades/updates for free….who knows.
Has anyone ever leaked any of Sony or Microsoft acquisitions? I refuse to believe any of them for that reason.
Bungie was going around for a bit before it was announced. Though I think it was more a case of knowing something was about to happen just not who the buyer was.
Playground and Undeadlabs was expected.
Ninja theory and Double fine was definitely a surprise and Bethesda a mega bombshell.

Well this one looks to be false as the leaker also said Days Gone 2 was greenlit and we have this from someone at Bend
Insomniac went quiet for a while, at that time, they deflected when asked if they’d work with another studio/publisher or their indie stuff
