Im going to put it out there, could it be possible that Sony pulled a MS(with 360) and mandates that all PS4 games must be 1080p? (to ride the hype train)
Could it possible that a multiplay game could look worse at 1080p on PS4 then to Xb1 at 720p-900p?
yeh PS4 is at 1080p but look at all the extra flash s*** running at 720p. which version would you pick?

The XBOX ONE is launching on 12 Nov? Due tell when MS decided to move their release date up 10 days.
It means nothing. If the embargo was a day before or day of system launch then it would be different. Twelve days before the game launches means absolutely nothing. What would a review 12 days before the game drops have anything to do with anything?
Everything has an embargo. That's how it's been forever for reviews and product launches. There's an embargo now on reviews for Call of Duty. Threes an embargo on Killzone. There's an embargo on the next Hobbit movie. There's an embargo on everything and this is no different. Anybody making a an issue out of a review embargo that's 12 days before it launches is doing so for absolutely no reason. If the embargo was one day or the day of, then it would be shady. This is embargo is nearly TWO WEEKS before the game launches.

Which is beside the point, as I'm merely trying to establish if McMasters(who I believe is an astroturfer) will criticize MS for the same thing he is criticizing Sony for.
Embargoes on games are put in place by publishers. CoD embargo has nothing to do with Microsoft.

WoW this a huge turn around!! I thoroughly believe you can up a games resolution via day one patch from the sounds of this rumor it's what looks most likely, almost sounds like Sony did a "downgrade " and doesn't want anyone to know "which they have done before"
