The Nintendo Switch

The dock stuff is inexcusable. I don't know how Nintendo missed that. I recommend a screen protector or do what I am doing - play the Switch as a handheld. So good.

I would hope a person who can afford a switch can afford other modern pieces of tech like a cell phone so it's not much of a need.
It's probably coming anyway...
That misses the point, though you'd have to bring a phone to watch online anyway. Netflix/etc is a basic feature in any screened electronic these days. I certainly don't like juggling multiple peices of tech. It's not a deal breaker, but it IS disappointing. Even using at home, why not be able to use it for basic entertainment purposes? I guess the screen on the phone is better though.

I'd bet most switch owners also own a ps4 that will play the Netflix.
Netflix and other services are likely coming..but I am not sure a web browser is.

Switch would make for a better than cell phone Netflix watcher with its larger screen and stereo sound.

I don't think they should rely on others providing a feature, though I would hope and expect it to be added at some point. The resolution is far inferior to my phone. I've got a Note 5, though.

I have it, but so conflicted about opening it. It's one of those things where I don't really need it. I have such a back log of good games.

Hehe...giving my newly purchase switch to a good friend. This actually feels like the right thing to do. Don't question my motivations, because I don't have answers.

I'll eventually get one when more games come out. I still need to get a PS4 for some of the titles that are out there...especially this year so far (Nioh, Horizon).

Back to some good ole PC gaming.

Oh you don't have a PS4/Pro yet?

P.S You did a good thing by gifting the Switch... we need more of these types of things in this dark world.

My friend picked her up. :(

Pro controller is in stock at Amazon right now for anyone that still needs one.

Got mine yesterday and it is great.

I really want to support nintendo, but I think they'll be fine with Zelda so soon.

Anybody else noticing a slight delay with the joycon when off the screen and using it docked? In Bomberman there was a definite slight delay in the movement.

The left one? part of the problem some people are having is that the connection to the system gets sketchy, its not always a full disconnection.

Yep, left one. The one that moves the character.

Looks like all you can do for now is clear as much between the controller and the dock, even a bottle of water will screw with it. And play as close as you can. Its apparently a weak signal.

I'm quite interested in the Switch and the new Zelda.
I'm still making my way through my backlog of PS3 games. Looks like I'm totally skipping the Wii U/PS4/XBO generation. Kind of feels like a non generation to be honest. I kind of forgot that the PS3 generation is over. I couldn't even name a game that's exclusive to this gen, let alone a game I want.

“Stores across the country last night were packed with customers who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the brand new Nintendo Switch. We even had customers lining up as early as yesterday morning so that they could be one of the lucky ones to score one of the additional units for our walk-in customers. This is one of the strongest and most successful gaming console launches for GameStop in the last several years. For those fans who are still looking for the Nintendo Switch, don’t worry–we’re getting more. And, we’re pretty sure that there are a lot of gaming fans who pulled all-nighters last night playing their new Switch, and who also called in sick to work today with ‘game-fluenza’ just to stay home and play even more.”

Several years?? Like 2? 3? Cause the last release was the Pro

Or 3 years ago? Cause I believe the PS4 did 1M in the US alone?

No need to get butt hurt Nintendo haters, its to early to tell if the Switch will be a success. 1st holiday will be telling.
