So without knowing any numbers.......it appears the One X pre-orders have started selling out throughout all regions.....Not bad for $500 console with no games

The price is right and anyone with a 4k TV or looking to get one will lean to XOX to show that purchase off. Im not surprised by the preorders but I have always been bullish on the box.
Sure- it's dead on arrival for anyone who can't afford $499, is price sensitive enough where a $100 is deal breaker or doesn't have a 4k TV and not looking to upgrade. For people who have some disposal income, likes nice stuff and has a 4 TV or looking to upgrade them it's a awesome product.
IMO, I think the 1X is going to sell better than most expect once it's actually out in the wild. Word of mouth will spread and MS will capitalize on the positive momentum with marketing about "the best place to play!"
Not that I'm vested in Xbox sales as it has no bearing on my enjoyment of the system but, I do hope it sells extremely well and exceeds all expectations. I haven't had a really good laugh in a long time - not to mention I love that underdog type s***. Hater shutdown, worldwide.

No way I'd wait until release to save a couble bucks in taxes. This Joe ain't takin' chances..
It should do very well. Gamers wanted MOAR POWER and this has it.
I do have an interest in this selling well, because competition is a win for all gamers. Who knows, maybe we don't see this console without MS taking some lumps early on this gen. When it comes to the console wars, balance works best for us.
Even the One managed to pull 3 million quite easily at 500 and that was with all the negativity
This is more powerful, has the largest library this gen and by virtue of BC, makes a trade in much easier for existing owners (compared to 360>XB1) it probably will slow down in the new year, unless there's a prolonged shortage. But Phil already expects that

I also pre-ordered mine from Best Buy and didn't see an in store pickup option at first. A few minutes after placing my order I went back to see if in store pickup had been added and it had so I was able to change my preorder from delivery to in store pickup. Just go to your order info and click on the make changes button.
I usually buy a new console and at least 4 games tending to cost a lot more than Scorpio.

I get a bonus in late November. So I'm just going to chance finding one then Instead of junking up a credit card now.
