Game seemed ok. I got to the point where your guy lands in the city and you walk around like Mass Effect. I had enough.
- Graphics were decent, but nothing special (gameplay visuals)
- The cut scene graphics look pretty good though. Not sure if it's real time game engine or prerendered game engine, but it looks a bit better than actual gameplay
- Game has screen tearing and that clunky feel when panning the camera. If you're moving slow and in a straight line, it's fine. But when it comes to fast paced aiming, the game engine isn't smooth enough to give a solid feel like CoD
- Menu screens look nice, but the circular menu reticule is a mess. Just have gamers use LS or d-pad and choose tabs. It's like the interface is meant for a mouse, but gamers are using LS analog sticks
- Familiar controls like every other shooter
- Felt Borderlandsy + Mass Effecty + Haloy + Fallouty
- Gunplay has enough weight to it to feel right, but the clunky frame rate when quickly panning the cam + blur effect = last gen feel
- Maybe the actual game has more to the environments, but no matter how good and varied the structures are, it's actually (and likely), corridor hunting and limited interaction with stuff except for loot boxes. It has the look of Fallout, but none of the interaction
- Dreaded unskippable cut scenes, BUT they were actually pretty good. To me, most unskippable cut scenes are a waste of time, but Destiny's was interesting to watch
Pass.
