Looks slick. Just hoping the player movement isn't so slip-sliding. I know the original CD games moved like that, but could tone it down a bit.
By the way Zomb: single player campaign doesnt use Cloud compute for destruction. Looks like its just MP. Makes sense though...I hope we have a transforming mech suit after seeing the mech lol
Ok...watch this video. The destruction is the real deal here. f***ing awesome!

And if it's going to look similar to this/better when it releases...
I can only love and not hate. Awesome. The guy in the video does say this is not entirely representative of the gameplay though, but that makes sense. Cause for one, that AR is never going to destroy buildings in the full game and i assume there's probably a limit to what you can destroy, otherwise there will be no building left after a while. But it's incredibly promising and i bet some fools on GAF are now eating crow with their...''Heh...cloud bulls***'' bulls***.
Actually, one of the bullet points of C3 is that the entire city is 100% destructible. And yes. GaF is trying to get their heads around this whole technology as we speak! lol.I've been drinking my morning coffee enjoying the hell out of it too!
Their even going so far as to make excuses for how Microsoft can't maintain the cost of this servers behind the tech. Thats how you know when you've got something. People try to wrap their heads around it and keep hitting brick walls. LOL. Hence why there are pages and pages on GaF of the same banter.

The level of destruction looks amazing!
I do hope that they can get the lighting looking a lot better, as well as the animations. It looks so much like earlier Crackdowns right now... which I'd probably still play. I mean those games were ugly in their own time, but it was always about the smooth gameplay and draw distance... but still, if they could crank it up on top of that...
Hopefully that's the target for the visuals. What was shown is the testing environment. They've a long way to go, and if that's the goal, then I'm good. It's not too far fetched given how nice open world games look bow, and since they are offloading the physics, it should be possible.Check the official trailer and as soon as it starts....where it says in engine gameplay, where the protagonist watches over the city. That looks fantastic. But that;s not how the other gameplay parts look. I would love it if it's going to look that good as the in engine bit though, boy that looks goddamn nice.

It does stand for online AI.I thought that the Cloud was just marketing speak for online AI?
What pisses me off about the destruction in Red Faction Guerilla (and it's sequel), is that the Physics destruction was amazing.... and no one else seems interested in taking it to another level until now. There was a moment where I thought it was going to be in everything (what with euphoria and that Digital deforming tech seen in that Star Wars game). Took long enough...
Cloud is still a gimmick?
