NVM just read that I would need to make my account the home account for Gold to work for my brother without my account being signed in. Problem is then all the games on the account I bought from him if I wanted to play them on other accounts I would have to have the account I bought signed in.Do you mean on your Xbox? Everyone on your Xbox should have access to Live unless age restrictions are set that keep them from accessing Live (like my daughter).
If you mean on a separate Xbox, then what you need to do is have him set his Xbox as your home Xbox under your gamertag, and then you are logging into your Xbox, set as someone else's home Xbox (most likely his), as a guest. It works because he would be logged into his own gamertag on what is technically your home Xbox but he would have access to Live because you have Gold. You would have access to Live on both because your Gold privileges "travel" with you.
So I'll just leave it the way it is.
